14/9/2017 14:12 | Her current position would be untenable if this were a proper PLC. Sadly she will stay until the ship sinks underneath her.A salutory lesson in family run business style. | seangwhite
14/9/2017 13:32 | She doesn't earn anything but she was given £215,000 in the year to April 2016 : ) | mr macgregor
14/9/2017 09:38 | This company is on course to go bust within two years. Remind me, how much is the clueless CEO earning ? | eastbourne1982
14/9/2017 08:10 | The Company is three quarters through the first half of the reporting year but have given little indication of where trading is other than stating that it will be another difficult year. If business does not pick up soon they will run out of cash.Company must be soft touch for a takeover if there is value in the technology. | mjcferguson
14/9/2017 07:30 | Newmark's results are always a lesson in how not to run a company. Not a peep from the CEO. In this case they have been over stating profits for years, evidenced by big goodwill writedown on old products and capitalized development costs. Mr MacGregor 26 Sep 2016 - 12:42:43 - 4803 of 4867 Further to my post back in July it seems some people never learn. CEO appointed through a personal relationship, not on ability. Mr MacGregor 6 Jul '16 - 11:25 - 4767 of 4802 Just look at the surnames of the two main board members. Tells you all you need to know. | mr macgregor
07/9/2017 11:57 | They have 6 months to publish the Annual Report & hold an agm. | russman
05/9/2017 09:03 | It is over four months since the year end.If they had good news I am sure they would want to get it out.Main hope is that they are delaying in hope that some positive news arrives. | mjcferguson
04/9/2017 11:25 | The Annual report is later than last year. But not late.Shareholder communication needs to be improved. | russman
04/9/2017 10:45 | I fear for this company. On and off I've followed / invested in NWT for 10 years + Take out the intangibles (R+D which they capitalised ?) and theres not so much left in the way of assets. Overall cash outflow in the period was £2.397m (HY 2015: inflow £1.189m) Cash balance at 31 October 2016: £1.9m (31 October 2015: £5.4m) Am I right in thinking the recent sale + leaseback announced on 11 August smacks of desperation ? A £360,000 overall profit on that transaction but now saddled with annual rents instead. The rent must be circa £100k+ a year. Certainly not a good long-term deal. | american idiot
04/9/2017 10:30 | After promising another investor that they'd be releasing results last week I called the company on Friday to be told they're still working on the results and were looking to release them in the next 2 weeks! They wouldn't be drawn on the reason for the delay. | cockerhoop
30/8/2017 08:37 | Hopefully with some encouraging news about progress. | mjcferguson
29/8/2017 14:51 | I'd heard that they were being released either 31st August or 1st September. | cockerhoop
29/8/2017 14:10 | should we be worried because the figures are late | lillyman
22/8/2017 11:26 | what is going on? | cascudi
04/8/2017 20:17 | I saw the share price rise today and thought the lady might have been replaced. No such luck so I will have to hope that things are getting sorted. | seangwhite
04/8/2017 16:32 | Final results were on 17 August last year so hopefully less than two weeks to wait.It will be three and a half months since the year end so I agree that indication of the outlook for this year will hopefully give us some encouragment | mjcferguson
04/8/2017 09:43 | I'm hopeful the outlook will be stated to be positive and that a reduced dividend will be paid which will still be a decent yield against current share price. At least we didn't get an adverse trading statement this July before the full year results for April 17, like we did last year. So cautiously optimistic the future will start looking a little rosier. | blindboy1
04/8/2017 09:11 | agree Nick It will be interesting to see if they pay a reduced dividend or none at all | lillyman
04/8/2017 08:55 | Only around two weeks away from annual results, but forward looking statement and current trading will be more important for the market. | nick rubens
10/7/2017 13:13 | M C D had better come up with a better plan for saving NWT than her current one as the share price under her tenure reflects badly on family run public companies. | seangwhite
24/5/2017 14:25 | Seangwhite, you obviously don't hold shares in family run TFW, LTHM, ASY disasters then :-) | cockerhoop
24/5/2017 13:44 | I do not the Marie C will be getting any businessperson of the year award for a long while. Very badly managed Company for a number of years and says a lot about family controlled PLCs.VGLTA | seangwhite
11/5/2017 08:57 | New property will probably help the bottom line a bit, interest of say £18k per annum will be a lot less than the rent they were paying.Should maybe have done this a while back! | mjcferguson
28/4/2017 09:51 | Taken a few to get the averages easier,on the verge of the final 200dma . today may be that day to clear that last hurdle...gla.lth's | abergele |
