It's due a rerating after six months of consolidation and with positive news out over the period, it hasnt reflected in the share price. Bid is ready to tick up again now. Not much stock around to buy Final results are supposed to be out end of this month or early August.

I've decided to buy some first thing this morning. Researched it over the weekend. Its close to a breakout and there isnt much stock available which is always a good thing to push the price higher.

0.4p impairment charge last year. I hope it will be less this year as this could be a nice niche. EPS could climb sharply.

Afternoon A_L_S FWIW I am a holder of NWT and have, similarly to yourself, recently taken a small position in HYDG. I think that there are definitely some issues with HYDG BUT I'm hoping that the new management will start to turn things round and others in the same area seem to prospering at the moment. One concern is any "kitchen sinking" by new management in the next set of results but, on balance, I'm happy enough to take a modest position ahead of news tho' not confident enough to take a large one :-) Good luck with it.

Hi Arthur, Didn't Hydrogen do quite a bit of business in the oil & gas sector? That sector and finance are not actually booming, the CEO and FD both leaving might be a sign of a fresh start or rats leaving a sinking ship I'm not sure which. I do like the yield if it's sustainable, the NAV per share looks to be over 40p but I'm not a maths expert. 3800

davidosh While you're at it have a look at Hydrogen (HYDG) a recruiter which is cheap before exceptionals and trading at not much more than TNAV. The only down side I've found to them is a good few negative reviews on Glassdoor from their staff/ex staff but there have been changes to the management and maybe this will result in a change in culture. Worth a punt IMV so I bought a few at 54p. I think there is a big seller out there at the moment which is depressing the price. Cheers Arthur

davidosh Last years figures were heavily impacted by exceptionals yet they still turned in eps of 0.19p per share. In the first half of this year they turned in eps of 0.31p and although the first half is expected to be stronger than the second they still look good for a profit in the second half putting them on a very low p/e. On top of this they have a rock solid balance sheet with net cash in the bank of over £2m and they generate cash. Even if earnings going forward are not as strong as this year they still look cheap to me which is why I bought some at 1.75p a while ago. Have a look a their results rather than the ADVFN figures. Cheers Arthur

Sorry davidosh I should have been clearer. Stockopedia lists 2014 PE as 9 and rolling PE of 6.7 plus it has p/cashflow as 7.Also had £2m in cash so in reality PE is even lower.

Hydrus....I am not necessarily in disagreement but can you expand a little on your measurement of 'cheap' and 'low rating' ? The Advfn figure for the p/e ratio is showing 16.45 which is no doubt historic. Can you add some colour ?

Hong Kong office opened: http://www.investegate.co.uk/newmark-security-plc--nwt-/rns/opening-of-hong-kong-office/201506010708517567O/ That has sent the share price soaring......well, actually no trades and no price change so far, but it's early in the day! I do feel this one is very undervalued but it is well under the radar at the moment and, at a market cap of £14m, probably has some growing to do before the market takes notice.

The FD is not someone known for buying shares in the company and only had these options in the money from 1.5p so he has not made a huge gain. Director buys and sells and what they indicate are the focus of one of our Mello workshops....and is just one part of investing that we will be focussing on at our next Mello event. We will have over fifty workshops for investors to look at different strategies and tax efficient ways to invest... hTTp://melloevents.com/mello-workshop/ If you are keen on small caps and quality companies where you will be able to meet the directors then you should come to this Mello investor workshops event as we will have at least 30 coming to Peterborough and we have just released the first list ...... hTTp://melloevents.com/news/ I have invited the Newmark directors to join us there. Why not join us too ?

At least they weren't just sold out of the blue - he had no shares, was given 3m shares 10 days ago, and has now sold them. It's not great that he doesn't hold any shares but somebody must've been willing to take them off his hands at 2.9p. The news will probably cause some more selling though.

Thought it was an April fool from you spooky, but I see it isn't: http://www.investegate.co.uk/newmark-security-plc--nwt-/rns/director-dealings/201504010826301281J/ Doesn't send the best signal to the market does it? On the other hand maybe he needed £87,000 and maybe an institution has taken them as a way of building a stake without moving the price? I'm very much hoping this one doesn't go pear shaped as the fundamentals look fantastic and it seems significantly undervalued by the market.

New research from Edison. Est PAT for this year is £2.2m, with eps of 0.49p (or fully diluted 0.44p.) At the current bid of 3.2p, or market cap of ~ £14m this remains very good value, with underlying cash of >£2m at 1H.
