zastas, have a look at Edcon USD 9.5%11/18 or in EUR both listed in Frankfurt - They have just announced a tender to take out the 07/15 at par - bought in the 50's a few years ago when GRY 19%pa - NWR reminds me of similar mis-pricing.

Thanks Atholl, I mainly watch Stuttgart, but I'll need to get back to Frankfurt watching then.

The difference in bond price seems just too much for me, perhaps just needs a bit of 'arbitrage'. I would have thought that either NWR is toast or will be as fit as a foxy Mancunian again well before 2018. In which case I can't see much of a justification for such a miss-pricing. Perhaps I should act, especially if it reaches its June low of about 30 again.

Both are listed in Frankfurt. Longer one seems much cheaper given 3 years longer duration.

Yes, that's my conclusion. There are more high risk takers amongst share punters then amongst bond investors; at least that's the only explanation I have.

I only knew about the 13-21 bond. Where is the other one listed or viewable? The 10-18 seems also relatively better valued although I appreciate that's always to a degree the case with shorter dated risky ones.

The eurobonds are €7.875 10/18 trading at 72/75 & the €7.875 13/21 at 39/42 - seems the ords are overprised?

Bonds ( senior) seem low, or share price too high.

"The sale is positive for NWR shares as it will provide the company with additional liquidity," We have also observed positive changes on the coking-coal market lately."

FOr China delivery is :

$149.5 a ton up from $129 low in July
