COVID-19 Update and Timing of 2019 Results

The Board of New Trend Lifestyle Group plc (AIM: NTLG), the Singapore-based Feng Shui products and services group, issues the following COVID-19 update.

COVID-19 Update

Further to the Company's announcement on 29 May 2020, the Singapore Government has announced, as part of Phase 2 of the lifting of its Circuit Breaker restrictions, that retail shops are able to re-open from today, with appropriate social distancing measures. Therefore, the Group's shops have now re-opened, however, it is too early to assess how quickly trading will return to normal levels. The Group's corporate events, which were held from the Head Office, will not resume under Phase 2 as large gatherings remain restricted in Singapore for the time being.

Timing of 2019 Results

Following consultation with its auditors, the Company has concluded that due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, it would require more time to properly ascertain the effects of the disruption on its future revenues and cashflows.

Therefore, with the consent of both AIM Regulation and Companies House, the announcement of our final results and publication of the 2019 Annual Report and Accounts will be delayed beyond the normal reporting deadline of 30 June 2020. However, the Company will publish and file the 2019 financial statements by 30 September 2020.
