NewRiver Retail will continue to grow -

Real estate investment trust (Reit) NewRiver Retail (NRRT) is a market leader in the convenience and leisure property sector.

Berenberg analyst Kai Klose initiated coverage with a ‘buy’ recommendation and target price of 365p on the shares, which rose 0.7% to 314.9p yesterday.

‘We believe NewRiver Retail is well positioned for continuous growth and that the investor base should be broadened from the targeted listing on the main markets,’ he said.

‘Supported by positive rental growth, moderately rising occupancy levels but also from the sourcing of new retail properties, we believe net operating income will grow by 61% from £54.6 million of March 2016 to £88.1 million over the next three years.

‘While the UK retail market is likely to remain competitive, NewRiver Retail is well positioned to show solid growth in earnings and dividends. We also expect a positive impact for the stock following the listing on the main market, expected this year.’

NOTE: The correct ticker for NewRiver is NRR (not NRRT as article above).

Sky,

SP is actually slightly down on last Open Offer. Price seems full imo, but is good income share.

9% PREMIUM to NAV. Sure, excellent results and a 5.7% yield; but holding propcos trading at a PREMIUM, especially nearer the end of the cycle than the beginning, is no way to maximise your portfolio capital.

Don't expect to make any share price progress over the next year.

But gives time to buy. It's great when the price does not react much

Anyone know when we hear about entry into the FTSE 250? Seems to have gone quiet on that front?

Agree with you about the UAI chart - share price locked in a confirmed downtrend for months. There have been some very profitable swings in the past - hoping to play that again ahead of the end April Finals; though bought in rather too early this time around.

SKY,thanks very much for the offer but i like to pick my own horse in a race.Maybe if we back date it a few months!

Had a quick peep at UAI.Looks interesting.Well under NAV,directors buying heavily.Chart is awful though but that can soon change on any positive news.

Good luck with that.

shauney - quite right. But even a stopped clock is right twice/day!

Seriously though, over the past 2yrs the share price is up c12%. Add in the 5% from dividends and I agree, you're ahead of the game by c11%pa.

NRR shareholders are lucky that the increasingly fallible Woodford has hovered up stock on a mega scale. Whilst he is there, the chance to sell and move on remains.

I'll have a bet with you.

You have NRR @ 336p. I have UAI @ 211p. Timescale 4 months (I want to get UAI's Finals covered - usually end April!)

Diarised....

SKY,
You have been saying the same for a couple of years now.We must of had about 25p in dividends and nice rise in the share price all be it well above NAV.

Woodford continues to hold NRR up - almost single-handedly - these should be back to the 300p level; so take advantage of his aberration and take profits!
