20/8/2010 11:25 | I am in this for the "story". I invest rather than trade but I am watching a bit closer at the moment. The CPO price has "eased" (albeit from its 16 month high) to $820 last 4 days. Is it me or are NBPO a bit vague on their finacial calender - anyone got a record of upcoming dates? EDIT (silly boy) New Britain Palm Oil Limited (LSE: NBPO), one of the world's largest producers of sustainable palm oil, will announce its interim results for the period ended 30 June 2010 on Friday 27 August 2010. ... looking forward to it | thorpematt
20/8/2010 11:04 | Higher crude palm oil (CPO) prices helped Anglo Eastern Plantations, which produces the commodity in Indonesia, post a rise in profits in the six months to June 30. Pre-tax profits were up to $26.7m from $24m over the same period the previous year, as revenues jumped to $77.9m from $57.6m. The average price for CPO during the period was $805 a tonne, up from $650 a tonne in the first half of 2009. | thorpematt
19/8/2010 10:38 | Very nice, all time high very close now, 750p target when that breaks. | matt123d
19/8/2010 10:15 | I do... Oh my goodness look at what's just happened! | saget
18/8/2010 15:55 | Just edited previous (pasted wrong link to old article). Anyone fancy £6 soon... | thorpematt
18/8/2010 15:54 | Thanks. I was doubting myself. | farnesbarnes
18/8/2010 15:50 | Yes, I was only joking with you. 40% rise from the previous breakout from 400p to 560p. Breakout from 560p will give approx 750p. Quite a few traders base targets on this so I would anticipate it being an area of supply after the 620p level has been broken, simple really but remarkable how many people sell at these points. | matt123d
18/8/2010 15:46 | So not the base and subsequent break of an ascending triangle then? | farnesbarnes
18/8/2010 15:46 | Nice article by IC - (edit) | thorpematt
18/8/2010 15:44 | It's a very complicated and time consuming process and something which people would pay good money to get hold of! | matt123d
18/8/2010 15:37 | Care to share this function? | farnesbarnes
18/8/2010 15:27 | Based upon a function of the previous breakout, target will only come into play if the all important 620p level is broken. | matt123d
18/8/2010 15:22 | matt Can I ask how you calculate your target please? | farnesbarnes
18/8/2010 14:33 | Looking good, breaking out here. Short term target 750p. | matt123d
05/8/2010 12:55 | 4 August 2010 NEW BRITAIN PALM OIL LIMITED ("NBPOL" or the "Company") Appointment of Joint Corporate Broker New Britain Palm Oil Limited (LSE: NBPO), one of the world's largest producers of sustainable palm oil, is pleased to announce today the appointment of Macquarie Capital (Europe) Limited as joint corporate broker alongside Liberum Capital, its existing corporate broker, with immediate effect. | aishah
05/8/2010 10:43 | The broker notes (from TMI) last april was 2010 35.5 eps 2011 40.6 2012 47.8 2013 54.0 but looking at digital look earnings for the next two years have increased to 2010 42.2 eps 2011 46.6 | johnv
05/8/2010 09:10 | Crude Palm Oil Up On Rising Festive Demand, Weaker Ringgit | aishah
05/8/2010 07:51 | I'm not much into fundamentals, could someone verify this for me please. Current mkt cap of £765m at 527.5p. £124m profit last full year, current p/e of 9. Forecast for £70m profit this full year, (so say £35m next results), that would give a target share price of £7.77. Am I missing something? | farnesbarnes
04/8/2010 17:52 | Yes worked sellers being matched with a buyer at the respective levels. Hopefully there will be little supply left now and this will move up towards breakout. | matt123d
04/8/2010 17:33 | Sorry - I meant after hours. 4 big trades, they've gone through at 535 and 528 (delayed?) respectively. You think these are sellers matt? | farnesbarnes
04/8/2010 17:27 | Auction? This is an SSQ3 stock hence only uncrossing auctions take place and are signified by a U symbol. The large trades will be sellers working a large sell order. | matt123d
04/8/2010 16:37 | HUGE 250k buy in the auction :) edit - another 230k :) :) | farnesbarnes
04/8/2010 11:37 | Added here, some decent volume going through today as well. All moving averages turning positive again and a text book cup and handle pattern. 600p short term target. | matt123d
03/8/2010 18:19 | some pretty big buying in the last 15 today | farnesbarnes |
