02/8/2010 22:56 | Thorpematt - think your analysis is spot on - so I'm in today as we to start to pull out of the consolidation phase. Expecting a run up to results - and PO price looks to be stengthening. AEP loking very strong too. Its nice and quiet on this thread at present - just the right time to get in?? All IMHO DYOR. | melody9999
28/5/2010 11:42 | A "corporate changing" event this one IMO. Sustainable sources of palm oil is something we should all be asking for. NBPO is at the forefront of this and should be congratulated for being so. A sound investment for sure. Sustainable and traceable palmoil: A small step for mankind, a giant leap for NBPO. | thorpematt

15/4/2010 15:11 | Good news today and the share price has responded. Onward and upwards. This is a very quiet page. Is there anyone out there? | kingmidas2
18/3/2010 15:55 | Thanks FB same to you. | ian77
18/3/2010 14:47 | Well, you've got long term support circa 450ish, and resistance at 600. At these prices, watch your brokers platform. For example, how many shares can you trade online at these prices? If NMS is £20k at 450, and mm's are only letting you have £2k it's defo good support. MM's will only let you buy small quants if they think it's a bargain. And vice versa. ATB | farnesbarnes
18/3/2010 09:36 | This has been my share of the year so far.I was looking for 545 originally but it seems there is no stopping its upward run.Any opinions out there on nbpo.My normal type of stock is pharma/banks/oil [the other sort]Any clear comments/opinions would be appreciated. Thanks Ian. | ian77
15/3/2010 11:24 | when i said i'll be topping up on the big dips... don't look like there's gonna be any big dips? | thorpematt
25/2/2010 19:18 | All good news. Palm oil price tends to be something of a barometer for world economy - Strange really, people gotta eat regardless. Any slump in indexes could effect the stock price BUT this ones got a way to go I reckon - so I'll be topping up on any big dips. I feel the sustainability and environmentals make this a VERY good investment. | thorpematt
25/2/2010 07:15 | From today's FT market report: New Britain Palm Oil added 3.1 per cent to 497½p after agreeing to new plantations in Papua New Guinea for $175m. "We forecast this will enhance earnings by 6 per cent in 2010 and 15 per cent in 2011 with material upside thereafter as the productivity of the plantations improve and costs are reduced," said KBC Peel Hunt, the broker. | gargoyle2
24/2/2010 09:36 | I'm here too. I have to say that I don't understand the business or the prospects as well as I should, but am holding since the 390s, so certainly enjoying the recent rise. | gargoyle2
24/2/2010 09:00 | Well looks like we are flying with this one... or is it just me? | thorpematt
22/2/2010 21:00 | OK Children, I trust you have all done (watched) your homework. But what did we learn. Essays are due in by the end of the week... | thorpematt
19/2/2010 11:08 | Research: TV Show for you to watch:- For the record (and in answer to my question), I do view NBPO as "one of the good guys" i.e. sustainable and therfore I believe that the more publicity we get on the environmentals the better. | thorpematt
09/2/2010 22:12 | stnick (ref574) No I am not holding. Although funds permitting I would have bought at the point of my preevious post. I see the recent price rise as a breakoput of sorts. PLUS more importantly I like the potential here and believe the direction of the business model is perfect, I see it somewhat as "re-modelled". The future market too I rate as very positive. Those that are holding: I am envious - DO NOT SELL LouisR2(ref 576): Your article is of interest, the environmentals are important. I am intrigued as to your stance - Do you view NBPO as one of the good guys? | thorpematt
20/1/2010 13:26 | I hold, at an average of around 390p. Noticed a few buyers coming in at 455/456 over the last few days so just topped up with a small spread bet too. | gargoyle2
20/1/2010 00:28 | have just been reading thrope but dont hold yet. do you hold? | stnick
13/1/2010 17:25 | Is there anyone there? Just for a bit of fun - anyone who is watching this stock please knock once... Surely i can't be alone | thorpematt
19/11/2009 14:07 | Hmm, looks like the business model may be different between them, needs further research! | cyberbub
19/11/2009 09:03 | Guys, if you're interested in palm oil and are willing to invest for 2-3 years, take a look at BIP and do the NBPO-style maths on that company... you heard it here first! I am a BIP holder by the way, so DYOR! No advice intended etc etc | cyberbub
08/10/2009 08:11 | $100m contract news today with Ferrero .... any interest? | edcrane |
