I might buy some more at 383, seems easy money when deal agreed at 400

So 400p cash it is. Can't believe all those numpty fund managers selling for a 10% discount.

So neither of the potential bidders have backed off at the first deadline yet the shares are at more than a 10% discount to the higher potential offer. Extraordinary. If the auction gets going this could get to 450p IMO.

Well well well....we could have an auction on our hands. Let's hope so.

That's my thinking, with an offer of 387 which they're minded to accept, if anything I'm thinking of topping up for a 7-8% gain. Even the TU on Wednesday seems not that important, maybe!

People are selling in volume currently at 358p. The non-binding proposal, which is subject to due-diligence, is at a level 8% higher. This bidder has clearly made several previous approaches so looks pretty highly motivated.
A recommended offer (assuming it transpires) could be done and dusted in under two months. Very surprised sellers are leaving so much on the table. They must have some cracking other investment ideas!

So, IPO 4 years ago at 435p, one big acquisition and funding issue, then taken out at 387p (probably). Not a great stock market experience for a high quality, profitable, cash generative business with genuine growth prospects. Somehow it couldn't shake off a wholly unwarranted perception that it was a bit "dodgy". Another indictment of the incompetent, lazy and overpaid London fund management sector.

It's the shorts with their small algo sells still in control here, they have been for a few years now

It will be rejected back to 250p. Look at the selling.

Mug punters will be forced out now, as the II will push the price down for next 30 days.

Come back at 250p.

They will be getting this for not much more than we paid for the Africa business.
Private equity will bribe management to accept a price that's not in shareholders' interest. Just watch...

Network International Holdings PLC posted solid FY22 results this morning. Total revenue of USD 438.4 million grew 24.5% y/y, statutory profit for the year was up 41.6% y/y to USD 80.1 million, helped by underlying EBITDA margin expansion to 40.7%, the balance sheet strengthened with leverage down to 0.7x. The outlook is for more solid performance, management expect high teens revenue growth in 2023 and an EBITDA margin slightly ahead of that in 2022, so 20%+ profit growth looks achievable. Valuation is a little unhelpful with forward PE ratio at 17.4x in the bottom quartile for the sector, there is also no dividend. The share price remains in a 3 year correction and lacks positive momentum. There is no rush to buy here, but the business is solid and delivers profits so is worth monitoring for the time being...

What an appalling growth stick thus has proved to be from March 21.
Back to its usual decline.
Yes it picked up since the buyback in August but now heading back down again.
This is clearly listed on the wrong market, no UK investors and all its business in Africa and the muddle East. And they expect to achieve shareholders returns. What is the point.

I read over the weekend that many of the fans at the World Cup are basing themselves in Dubai, which is of course more of a fun destination than Qatar, and are using the roughly 30 daily shuttle flights to Doha to go and see the games. This should be good for payment volumes in our back yard.

Shares have had a very good run into this update, so even though it was a great update it's not a great surprise to see some profit taking. The fact that the profit taking is only modest I take as a positive.

Another top update and the market just refuses to acknowledge.
Several quarters of excellent figures, maintaining guidance, what does a company have to do, it's baffling this really

Plus given how weak the pound is, its even cheaper now.
Possibly why it's so strong during this bear market compared to the one in June

They quoted city sources as saying 500 despite it trading at 650 not so long ago.
Totally agree with your comments, growing company, increasing revenues and profitability, operates in areas not impacted by inflation, and the city 2 fingers it.
My gut feeling is not many PIs own this so is very vulnerable to attacks by shorts and small algo sells on days with low volume.
