18/8/2006 13:48 | So am I Cheeks and thought the same thing. Good top up time. AW | amazon_woman
18/8/2006 13:26 | Share price is showing definate signs of active manipulation today. Look at the intra-day graph...loads of little steps....normally, this share price is very "blocky" in 5p or 10p chunks...not today. Hope it means something. Forever hopeful, Cheeks | cheeks
18/8/2006 13:10 | Bullish nonsense indeed Humbugg it came from an RNS, see below. Let's see who has the last laugh. AW LONDON (AFX) - Network Technology PLC said its wholly-owned unit, Ringdale Inc has acquired certain assets NLynx Technology Inc as well as the brand names, copyrights, technology and web-addresses of www.NLynx.com and www.decisiondata.com The acquisition complements the acquisition of Madge Ltd assets, the Token-Ring PC card and switch manufacturer. The two acquisitions together should result in an increase in annual revenue of 1.6 mln usd for Ringdale. Network Technology CEO Klaus Bollmann said: "Ringdale will re-use the registered trademarks of 'NLynx' and 'Decision Data' as product brands. We expect to upgrade the thin client range and add Ringdale's access technology to those devices. "We expect this acquisition to give us even better access to Fortune 500 companies for our flag-ship FollowMe Printing product, as well as existing NLynx products adding further to our bottom line | amazon_woman
04/8/2006 13:18 | No, AW, not me. Afraid can't commit anything else to NTY, in deep enough. Would be interesting to find out how many Mr Wardleworth purchased to make him notifiable.....can't recall any purchases/sells much over 2000 in the recent past .... so how has he built the stake up ? Nothing much expected here now until the run up to interims. This company badly needs news on new contract wins (if there are any). Cheeks | cheeks
03/8/2006 13:34 | Someone is confident !! Cheeks not you is it. I am not selling until they reach my target. AW 3 August 2006 The Company was informed on 3 August 2006 by Mr R Wardleworth that he has a beneficial interest in 62,012 ordinary shares of 200p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares'), representing approximately 3.01 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. 31/7/2006 12:08 | Ah, that's better ;o) Cheeks | cheeks
31/7/2006 10:52 | I agree with DD thanks increased turnover this year will be around £1m on known orders with bigger GP % so better bottom line. We do now know what other deals they will strike this year so TO likely to be further increased. AW | amazon_woman
31/7/2006 09:27 | agree humbugg, read their previous statements...all jam tomorrow. cheeks, i noticed that too. | jailbird
31/7/2006 09:26 | Interesting, another 1000 sold.... that's 3500 unanswered sales and the share price hasn't budged. Normally, a sale of 10 results in a 15% drop in share price ! Hope this means something. Cheeks | cheeks
30/7/2006 18:22 | AW, Take those "rose tinted" glasses off. Where's the 1m the ACs would add to turnover?? why don't you research the last two statements with the last two sets of results....the figures are staring you in the face. lovely jam:-))))))))))))) | humbugg
28/7/2006 13:27 | Would have liked to see/hear a bit more, to say the least, very ordinary. I see two people have had enough, 2500 shares sold. How long to the Interims then ? ;o) Cheeks | cheeks
28/7/2006 13:11 | Had another look and notice that their gross profit % significantly improved at 78% compared with 58% last year. This must be due to their new product lines. They expect turnover to increase significantly it is already up 80% month on month so this years profits will be much improved. Looks good for the future and confident in holding, would have liked to see something spectacular but nothing to worry about in my view. AW | amazon_woman
28/7/2006 13:07 | Hmmm, reasonable results but not enough to "pile in quick". Still, they should reach profitability next year and can then build from there. I think the aquisitions will help the bottom line. | britishbear
28/7/2006 13:01 | good forward statement the results themselves nothing special | dickdasterdly10000
28/7/2006 12:56 | Just read the results they look good going forward, need to look at more closely but looks like everything in place for their recovery. Lets see how the market reacts but a bit quiet so far. AW | amazon_woman
28/7/2006 11:39 | Is a tiny drop in mid-price (just enough to mark the share "red") on 0 volume a feeble attempt by somebody to generate interest ? I hope so, it could signal the start of play. Actual trading range is £1.31/£1.39. Any thoughts ? Cheeks | cheeks
28/7/2006 09:11 | Now i'm nervous. I was expecting the results this morning. They said "July", and we are now on the last Friday of the month....unless they come out after the bell tonight, there's only 1 working day left in July....talk about cutting it close to the wire! If these results don't come out on Monday, then I think there is only one way for this stock to go. They HAVE to release results when they say they will, telling everyone they will publish the results in the month of July gives them a 31 day window - if they can't even manage that, then how are people supposed to take this company seriously ? The month of July for results was quoted after a false statement prior to that if you remember...not very impressive. I hope they prove me wrong, i'm just a little nervous. Cheeks | cheeks
27/7/2006 15:25 | just read these paras from the trading statement.. next yr should be a bumper year then...we shall see if the mean what they say.. "The turnover for the first two months of the current year (April and May 2006) has shown a significant increase on the same period last year. We expect our products to perform in a similar way throughout the current period." | jailbird
27/7/2006 14:42 | Hmmm... quiet, quite. Still a couple of hours I suppose. If any MM has orders to fill for stock prior to announcement (prob tomorrow), he's going to have to start some kind of movement going very soon to generate trades to begin to fill any order. I suppose that if it stays static until results, then nobody wants to buy in. Don't blame them personally given the history of this company. If there are good results and there is unexpected forward news, then people can jump aboard a company with less perceived risk than as of today, but at a possible higher price .... depending on your risk level outlook, post-result purchasing could be a more attractive bet. Just the ramblings of a fool waiting for news..... Cheeks | cheeks
27/7/2006 13:44 | Neither do I. This is a bit slow was expecting fireworks. AW | amazon_woman
27/7/2006 13:39 | 2000 sold & 2000 bought today. Anything in that ? ...dunno Cheeks | cheeks
27/7/2006 08:31 | Thanks Humbugg positive as always !!! If you know so much when is the RNS? How do you know they haven't already bought? Jam tomorrow well it is now time to eat the jam as eventually tomorrow does come. AW | amazon_woman
26/7/2006 21:35 | AW, If as you say the holders are "staff and people who know the business" why are they not buying in before the closed period??? my guess is that we will hear of jam tomorrow again. The new AQ will NOT add one penny to profit. Sell on the news. | humbugg |
