Maybe they've delayed them to avoid the cull that's been affecting the whole market, not an ideal environment to post results in (unless they are bad) as they would just be overlooked given the mass panic everywhere else. At least it seems like it's all over now, so I hope it'll be next week, if not, I fear further disenchantment.

Still got the champers on ice AW ?

They do not have a date yet but say it is not this week. As you say Cheeks they need to either stick to issuing them mid May as advised or issue an RNS with a revised date. It looks as if they are imminent though so we will just have to be patient.

Morning AW,
the "A" i'm talking about is the "A" we'll see in the "Flags" field next to NTY on the portfolio page. I'm assuming it stands for "Announcement".

Still no news, I suppose we are still "mid-May", but we are rolling towards "end-May" and I don'r think it will please the Market if NTY say one thing, but don't deliver ...it's the kind of image this company is trying to shake off !

I hope it's tomorrow.

Nice reply, above.

Regards,

Cheeks

thanks for the reply...

i think the forward outlook is the key to where the share price will go.

Jailbird you could be right for this year although the new contract with Sharp and the Lynx/Madge purchases should be reflected in this years results, even though they only took effect in the last month or so of the 05/06 financial year.

They expect the purchase of Madge/Lynx to add $1m to their turnover and the tie up with Sharp is likely to add significantly to their turnover as well.

Ongoing the above tie ups give them access to a large client base which will add even further to their turnover/profits.

I expect the share price to move up sharply once we know how these deals will impact on future profits.

Last year was the beginning of the turnaround and they sorted out their historic problems. Those have now been dealt with and they have a clean balance sheet. They have implemented all their cost cuts and streamlined the business. I think they will have a very positive future and am glad to be in at the ground level of what is effectively a new business, but one that has learned it's lessons from the past.

How the share price reacts to all this is anyones guess, it went up dramatically when there was a bull run on tech stocks even though they were entering CVAs. They have now exited the CVAs which is an achievement in itself. We all know that the market is not predictable, but whatever the short term movements the share price will be much higher than here in a few years possibly a 10-50 bagger.

It is now down to the market as to what happens after the results but I am extremely positive that even in the short term we will see a fast rise in the share price as this company gets noticed.

Good luck all holders

Network Technology plc

Preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2005

Highlights

* Turnover stabilised at #2.2m, the same as the previous financial year

* Average annual staff numbers in period down from 32 to 29

* Operating profit before exceptional items of #168,000 versus a loss of
#203,000 in the previous year

* Profit of #112,000 versus a loss of #147,000 in the previous year

last yr thaey made a profit and share price has not really reacted to much.
Why would this yr's profit make anymore of a difference.
I expect a profit on less turnover than last yr.

We have a buy and they drop the selling price. Looks like they want our shares as demand will increase for them after the news which should be this week, we are now officially mid May.

I know Cheeks the market is not good today heart attack material, you are right the drop has nothing to do with the company everything red. Hope this does not effect the reaction to the results. Now we remember that share dealing is not easy.

What does the "A" stand for may be being thick but can you explain.

Nice to hear from you enjoy your comments as usual. Humbugg your name suits you and you get what you wish for in life.

Taken out some of this as only mentioned it because Humbugg was being annoying as usual and negative with no back up to his comments.

The chart is looking positive with a nice upward trend.

We should get the results next week as stated in the RNS, these will be the prelims not the audited accounts so the fact that they are still working on them will not stop them giving us the figures.

Good luck and here's to a good week.

Cheeks

I doubt if they would say Mid May if they were going to be July/Aug. Who did you speak to? She is right in that they usually are later but it is very clear in the RNS that it was expected they would be available mid May.

Also in the last RNS when they mentioned the profits they would have said if the date had changed. I think it is normally Klaus who organises the release of info and he is in the States so maybe the person you spoke to does not know.

If you call back why not ask for Hanne, she will have a better idea.

For info,

Just spoke to NTY and they quoted "normally July/August" for results to be announced, when I said an announcement was made to the stockmarket in Feb stating "mid - May", the lady was surprised, but did say that they were working on them furiously, so if they were due early then that would be good.

Also, left a callback message with Tavistock Comms who released the Feb announcement on behalf of NTY...they promised to call me back today......

Not sure when to expect now ?

Hi Cheeks

They often issue news at 5pm so could be later but I think it is more likely next week. However the sudden drop by the mms makes me think they know something and are trying to shake sellers before the rise. Pure speculation but we know they play games. This share has a habit of taking you by surprise and moving fast so would not want to be out of them at the moment.

Good luck, it is only a matter of time.

Morning AW,
Thought it would be out by now if it was going to be today. Odds on for the 19th then if it's going to be a Friday in "mid-May" ?

We'll see what happens later, it could still happen I suppose.

Good Luck,

Cheeks

Cheeks I know you had the 12th as the date for results, you could be right as they do like to issue RNSs on Fridays. It is not really mid May yet but the way they have been giving out positive news and this recent tick down(normally a prelude to a rise) make me think tomorrow could be spot on.

Watching closely

That's nearly 2k shares the MM's have clawed back, still 2.5k short from the other day.
Hopefully they don't get what they need and they have to revert to plan B later (put the price up to generate more sellers).

Remember, results could be due as soon as tomorrow (mid-May they said) and all announcements so far indicate they will be good !

Hold tight, imo.

One small sell and they drop the price, getting used to this, if they want to generate trading they will need to move it up. NO DEAL.

Totally agree Cheeks but we all know the mm's games they love playing us but the trick is not to fall for it. I am like you been here too long, luckily I got out and back in but truly believe in company, and am holding. We will be rewarded hold on and reap the rewards. Everything comes to those who wait, I should know, do not let anyone sway you from your convictions. Think of it this way if no one else is interested now they will be and we will be the winners getting in at the ground floor.

We should share a bottle of champagne on D day !!!

Drop prompted one seller to dump 850 shares, suspect not enough for MM's so expect the price to rise sooner rather than later as a change of tactic.

Can't believe somebody sold today when good results could be due any day in the next week or so !

Each to their own I suppose

Hmm, a small dip on no volume ?

could be a delayed sale

or

maybe the 1st stage of the next price hike. Maybe MM's have an order (can anyone see L2 to confirm ?) to fill and are trying one last desperate attempt to pickup a few shares at these prices

You have to hand it to them ( but not your shares ).

I'm sure time will tell and waiting is something that NTY shareholders are well experienced in.

Your sentiments are spot on Cheeks, they seem to be moving this up slowly at the moment. I guess that is better than shooting it up on a false start and then dropping it back almost as quickly. It does generate more confidence that this is the start of a more permanent and sustained rise based on their turnaround.

I agree that we will still see a sharp upward movement soon, probably after the results as they are undervalued, and we all know the history of this shares movements. It can shift 400% in one week.

I do not however think that we will have the sharp retraces we have seen before as the results will show us how dramatic the turaround is. Anyone who can hold for a few more years will see massive returns but I know there are plenty of people who have already held for years and probably want to get their investment back.

Good luck, the next 7/10 days should be fun.
