09/6/2008 06:02 | Morning all - good luck this week | cotton4
08/6/2008 13:28 | Malkie...i cant remember what he said but I agree a bit of banter along the ways helps the boredom. On a serious note ...when are you covering your shorts? ;-) | maxbubble
08/6/2008 12:43 | Imv lets put the past to bed - we all have our own views and thoughts on the Chairmans motives - i have my own personal info and thoughts as to what his agenda was - lets wait and see for a month or two and see if we have turned the corner and the company realises the potential that has attracted us here and that all shareholders can enjoy getting their investment capital back and maybe even some profit. | maxbubble
07/6/2008 07:37 | youre lucky - i think i need to get to about 70p. | maxbubble
07/6/2008 07:23 | My breakeven is 26p The MMs still seem very short of stock | 25wbh
07/6/2008 07:03 | 25wbh... i think Keith will part with a few if needbe at a later stage. I'm sure there will be funds raised at some point for acquisitions. What price that will be at will depend on how good a picture Keith can paint about prospects going forward and the how good the acquisition looks like on paper. He is like the most of shareholders who need a higher shareprice just to breakeven. cotton ...i wasnt doubting you i just said that you seemed disappointed that you had sold - i am saying price may come down so you might look back and think it was a great move. From my point of view I'm hoping the shareprice will continue to recover. | maxbubble
06/6/2008 21:12 | You used to say that keith would part with a few if needed | 25wbh
06/6/2008 19:28 | maybe cotton will be happy on monday if price drops. I'm sure the mm's will try an odd shake or two but I still think 50p is achievable short term for the company that would value it at £5.5m. Its then up to the directors to improve the PR and deliver a profit. A bit of good news and this could fly. I cant see there being enough surplus stock for an institution to be buying in any volume at these prices. | maxbubble
06/6/2008 18:47 | if the mm's paid 19p they must have a buy order in, or are you sure you didn't buy ??? | albycat2
06/6/2008 18:30 | I tried a couple of times but on both occasions my broker had been quoted at a premium. So I let it go as I'm still holding some, but I would prefer to add on pull backs - don't like chasing no matter what. | malkie
06/6/2008 18:24 | Go though a broker Malkie , i picked up 10k easily a couple of days ago 5k @16 & 5 k @17. With a bit of luck you should be able to buy 10k at 22p on Monday. | 25wbh
06/6/2008 17:58 | I think the market is desperately short of stock and they are back filling and covering short positions with every chunk they can get. Time for a short squeeze! Just wish i could get some volume, but market makers are keeping a lid on things! | malkie
06/6/2008 17:23 | Interesting Cotton 4 Offer was at 19p all day you managed to offload over nms @ offer price and then the offer went up to 20p I did note a small drop in on-line price after the trade from 17.75 to 17.43 But on-line quotes would only allow me to buy 1k of shares. The same happened the other day when 15k shares were offloaded - price went up So what is happening here? Has someone got a massive buy order in? If so how much are they prepared to go to? Has the market got whiff of something and wants to accumulate shares? Any other reason for over a 100% increase in price lately? Not that I'm complaining Regards | flesh
06/6/2008 16:12 | Thanks for that Cotton 4 , have you any further interst in the co. or was that it. My broker told me that it was a buy but at the same time could not understand why they managed to buy 28200 at 19p rgds B | 25wbh
06/6/2008 16:09 | Thanks for letting us know Cotton4.....hope you were happy with the price... | malctim70
06/6/2008 15:59 | Sorry lads but that 28200 was a sell by me, inadvertently I may add. For the first time I pressed "Negotiated Trade" expecting them to come back to me with a price which I could say Yes/No to. It doesn't work like that. They take the shares direct to the market.I got 19p for them which is very fortunate given that it could have been anything. But this certainly augurs well for you holders going forward.I may be able to buy back next week but if not good luck. You live and learn. | cotton4
06/6/2008 15:26 | nearly a 2 year high..has to be some fire to go with this smoke ! | albycat2
06/6/2008 15:12 | I'm starting to like Fridays with NEB!!! | freelunch
06/6/2008 14:38 | Much prefer rises like this.....slow, steady and unnoticed....sooner or later though, others will spot it and take a punt..... | malctim70
06/6/2008 09:58 | So 18p is 2 million market cap. We have plenty to go then!! | freelunch |
