Indeed. You will note that there was plenty of support around 3p.

Sula doing mighty fine, so may be not an African thing, but this share always makes wild swings if someone decides to bail in a thin market.

Yes still waiting for SEP at this stage or the shareholder loan extension whichever comes first.

Sonic / Matt / assorted other accounts why don't you take yourself back off to the M40 corridor and stop trying to aggravate shareholders across both boards.

There's quite a substantial amount of expected newsflow between now and financial close actually. Perhaps you should do some research.

Yes it's a very tight free float here so moves equally as quickly up and down especially at these levels though I know LTH have been adding at these bombed out prices ahead of the funding update, which is good news obviously as the more sticky holders we have moving forward the better for the share price as we push on towards financial close.

Yes, it wouldn't make any sense for the directors and the largest shareholder to play hard ball with the company as they'd only be shooting themselves in the foot. But I think everybody is waiting for the confirmation of exactly this !

Let's hope it'll get clarified soon, well, it has to be clarified before the 11th anyway, but wouldn't be surprised then to see this melt up as quickly as it bombed out last month.

The shareholder loan was made by the board and other long term investors including the institutional investor AFC who hold 22%. Why on Earth would they dilute themselves when they merely have to extend the loan term until financial close and then raise the required 300k for operating costs through a CLN at a higher strike price. Everything else to financial close is covered by the SEP cash.

No shares currently available at 3.75p. Perhaps there is a clue here, you would think if a bucket shop placing is around the corner that forward selling had already begun in earnest.

The company are in ongoing and highly sensitive negotiations and I am not in the least bit surprised that they are on complete PR lockdown, and for the same reasons they are in a closed period and cannot buy stock. I think you have to appreciate the bigger picture here and the fact that the $3m from SEP effectively opens the door for the rest of the $20m+ investment at financial close, I see the cash payment to be as green a light as any JDA. I didn't see your trades go through today Kibes, after all you did say that you had sold?

clockworkorange - when the funding is sorted out I may get back in. The project looked great six months ago, but there has still been no proper explanation for the delay of more than a year which Ncondezi can ill afford. Why wouldn't it be delayed for a further year after that? We simply aren't being told.

Actually Kibes which of the two 100k buys today was your sell? Or not as the case may be. Hmmm..

That's a shame Kibes, each to their own, though your post has done glaring factual errors. Perhaps you need to do your research better, especially regarding the project financing and overheads. ATB.

Well I'm out of this. The raising of funds is running too close to the wire for comfort as far as I'm concerned.

1. Whilst SEP seems to have agreed in principle to release $3 million in advance of the JDA they do not seem to have actually signed on the dotted line yet. Whilst I am sure they will behave ethically and will honour the terms of the original agreement to work together with Ncondezi it doesn't really seem reasonable to expect them to bail Ncondezi out to me. Ncondezi's cash problem is for Ncondezi's shareholders to deal with isn't it?

2. The idea that Ncondezi will only need an additional $300,000 a year doesn't stack up either. That won't even cover the CEO's salary. Who is going to lend that money without any kind of security? And where is the money to finance the coal mine going to come from?

3. I expect that AFC will come up with cash if their arm is twisted, however it will be on extremely onerous terms if so.

4. It all boils down to shareholders needing to reach into their pockets if they want to continue with this project in my opinion.

Laguna - the only one that has evidenced multi accounts is KIBO holder Sonic. Stones and glass houses I think, perhaps tend to your own flock before accusing others.
