@MW8156 - seems a bit of a stretch to blame previous management for failure to recruit / retain talent now? Almost 2 years after the changing of the guard?
If anything it looks like they're struggling now because of the fact that they're chopping and changing their leadership every few months?
I'm not surprised brokers are starting to ditch now - the results aren't great (bit of crafty accounting to make it sounds positive) and since they've been claiming to be 'just in transition - normal service will resume soon' for 3 bi-annual results in a row, it's becoming less convincing with every one.
Not to mention that Escrow numbers are down yet again. Which means either:
Escrow management are completely inept, floundering now that the don't have Rob Cotton to micro manage them.
or
The Escrow bubble is finally bursting (now that companies are realising it's an outdated, pre-cloud concept).
Without that guaranteed renewable revenue to prop up the Assurance division, NCC's become just too risky a business model.

Perhaps it helps to read the whole RNS and not get carried away with Stone doing something useful for once! Excellent co ordinated Directors buying shows belief in business. Not trivial sums in the round

Not sure what the Board were expecting as the outcome of the RNS today, but can't imagine they were expecting 30% down. I have re read the announcement and can't see any reason for this reaction.No shocks, just some comments re it being a bit slow whilst reiterating profit guidance which some commentators say is up on prior expectation and some down c5%This is a solid business in a growing marketAnyone else got a view?
