SKY, I think you mean approaching 90p! I've been picking a few up, which has pushed them better, and just seen the first noticeable offer (50k)for a few days.

The company bought-in a few NBDX yesterday, but obviously couldn't get any NBDG. Not surprising to see the share price moving North again as the NAV now approaching 80p!

NAV back up to 85p, so the buybacks at 72.5p are being conducted at a 14.7% discount.....and they're not managing to get many!

I bought some more because with this NAV increase the shares are cheaper at 72p than they were when I first bought at 69.75p at the end of last week. I hope the manager is buying back loads. rgds Gary

SKYSHIP, The NAV returns here are always going to be lumpy, because they're the result of binary events (e.g. a restructuring, an asset sale). So it's not surprising: a) that the NAV hasn't followed quoted HY indices or funds investing in that sector; b) you'll get NAV jumps like this on positive event outcomes. Bottom line for me is that I'd expect a positive NAV return from par, albeit not huge - in other words, I'm not convinced that this is a good investment to make from launch. (E.g. look at NBDD's performance for one of their mature portfolios). But it's the discount to the future e.g. ~120p expected return that makes this attractive for me. Maybe I'll be proved wrong and things will be more positive, either way with a low mid 60s average purchase price, there's significant margin of safety. Courant

Absolutely: 70p - discount = 19.7% 71p - discount = 18.6% 72p - discount = 17.4% 73p - discount = 16.3% Now kicking myself for not adding more than the token 5k I actually bought @ 69.5p; but at 14% allocation I'm already well over my 10% maximum. From time to time I allow exceptions - RLSZ, ACD....& now here. Question has to be - just how did they compute that c5% NAV rise in just 3days!?
