Increased taxes will spell a steep decline. Government gets more taxes when the economy grows due to people having confidence in the future. This era is about the end of public socialism (government tax, borrow and spend ). Government knows the jig is up, but they will not reform, so they're embracing Schw@b and his gang to give them an alternative that is a form of neo-communism. That will only end in tears.

I think that was a very muted sell off after the last few weeks action! It's very bullish for NWG in my view. Plenty more upside here.

Spending review 2020: 'Economic emergency' sees Rishi Sunak freeze public sector pay and cut foreign aid

The OBR has also forecast an 11.3% contraction in the UK economy this year - the largest fall in output for more than 300 years, the chancellor said.

"And the economic damage is likely to be lasting. Long-term scarring means, in 2025, the economy will be around 3% smaller than expected in the March budget."

I've never believed in the no deal possibility. Self interest will eventually force whatever compromises are needed. When a deal is finally agreed, banks will leap up past previous highs.

China blacklist strands more than 50 ships with Australian coal

BEIJING/SYDNEY (BLOOMBERG) - More than US$500 million (S$671.4 million) worth of Australian coal is on ships anchored off Chinese ports, as a diplomatic spat between the two countries cuts into trade, idles a portion of the world's dry bulk carriers and threatens to spiral into a humanitarian crisis.

That dividend news announced last night sounds good for some investors.
I wonder if Ordinary holders will be next in line for a dividend too?

Beijing Biden is not president elect - get your facts right. He won't be until all the court cases are exhausted and the results certified in his favor. The mainstream media has been perpetuating this fib for over a week now.

If your a Pharmaceutical company and invested in developing a corona virus serum and are not in the news boasting you have successes then you have just lost all your money as orders are going to those who have and I do wonder how good these are as you really have to be boasting about it now or your dead, the orders are going to those who are,
and a bit like the weather there is a 30% change there's is a 6% chance it wont work etc and all those who is doesn't work for are in that percentage, difficult to prove that percentage is correct. I just hope they are all being honest as Money does tend to bring out strange things in people.
