nwg performing better today than Barclays or LLOY for example in a weak overall market - not sure why and I regret closing out my CFD trade at 152.50 ! Got it wrong but a modest profit anyway

The DOW didn't quite make it through 30k again, although a new ATH at 29964. Close at 29950. From the S/T wave pattern, it looks to me like they're planning to break 30k tomorrow.

CNN is reporting that unsubstantiated lawsuits have been/are being denied and dropped all over the US, well over a dozen so far. The list includes Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona and more. Two problems - no proof and the tiny numbers of votes being disputed, too small to make any difference. What a farce.

After today's announcement of another corona virus vaccine and a further two one in Russia and one in china, it probably doesn't matter about why Pfizer's CEO dumped 60% of his shares after the announcement last Monday along with the FTSE busting through the 6360 resistance, which seamed like no resistance in the end, pointing to a continued upward trend, sentiment has now changed from still woes to come, to we know woes are coming but its a one off hit, ride the storm out now as we can see light at the end of the tunnel and this winter is the last of it, as it naturally subsides in spring to summer and then no more as we have scaled up and inoculated the world.

This is just a taster of what is to come in the New Year, thanks to the incompetents in the Lazy Buffoon Party.
Make sure you stock up in good time, although the real challenge will be fresh food, of course.

Polar fox: Cummings (and Johnson)
LOCK THEM UP! LOCK THEM UP! LOCK THEM UP!
thousands of extra deaths & massive GDP fall compared to EU and probably breakup of the UK. That is THEIR BREXIT. LOCK THEM UP! They've chucked the nation over a cliff edge.
sorry I'll get my hat. Could not resist.

I think that next year, the bank will not be nationalised any more. The government will be looking to raise significant amounts of money and selling its stake in NatWest looks likely to me. This will provide more fuel to the shares when the time comes.
