Not looking good over in the US. However, May has just unveiled deal on EU Citizens, so could be a turning point soon. My guess though and its only a guess, it will go sub £10 tomorrow.

done well to wait so far, could see a bit of a bounce if May does reach agreement with the DUP, if not then perhaps not just yet

Bounty, I thought long and hard whether to re-invest special divis over the past few weeks but due to uncertainty due to election and brexit woes I decided not to press the button.

This share is definately oversold IMO and having been hurt in the past, I am loath to try and catch a falling knife again. Will wait till it shows a positive turning point and not a dead cat bounce.

...now a different chart looks greyed out - I think this may be some temeporary 'special effects' from ADVFN so I'll check again later as when it occurs atm a screen refresh (F5) or two clears the issue

very odd, I saw what you meant then opened the header in edit, didn't save it as I first opened a backup but then noticed that looked ok with no change or edit so changed nothing - does it look ok to you now as well?

There should have been a gas shut off valve which would have closed on activation of the fire alarm or electric power shut off

Is it possible that the National Grid was SLOW to turn the gas off in that West London tower disaster?

Do they have any corporate responsibility or is it one of the gas companies to blame for any delays in turning mains gas off?

cmackay,

Sep has alluded to the problem and is right. In HL you have probably got a shortcut / favourite set up. Because the shares have been through a consolidation, the saved watchlist is trying to see the value of the old share which is no longer listed.

To rectify, go to your HL shortcut type in NG. Select the share National Grid Ord 12 204/473p and then re-save the Favorite. Hope this helps?

I've got National Grid on my HL watchlist: "NG."

noting the "dot" after NG

Comes up as "National Grid Ord 12, 204/473p"

I don't hold any shares in NG, but I've been watching them for several months. After getting back from holiday, I can't get a share price in my watchlist on HL, it just shows as n/a. Any idea why that is?

And we don't want that. She has to hold on for 2 years at least. Difficult it will be. We don't want a left wing Marxists government.

I don't think they will be able to form a Government in the current circumstances, fortunately, as there will be an arrangement with the DUP. Labour's only hope is for another election.

If Labour were to form a government in the present circumstances what's the chances of them being able to nationalize NG?

but when will that be!? ...with a bit of luck maybe at least post brexit if that ever happens now - we could get an improved Cameron style deal from the EU and another referendum (although I hope not personally)? ...just a guess but nobody really knows right now and I for one don't like uncertainty so let's hope we get a bit more clarity in the next week or two.

Utyinv.

Agreed. I was just curious as to why they choose June 8 of all dates to make the so called downgrade.

Meanwhile I think we can safely say that NG will not be nationalized until at least the next election!

absolutely UtyINV, banks targets are always inverse to their own objectives nowadays and to be regarded as a contra-indicator imo!

Happy to hold, defensive stock with decent yield and potential for capital appreciation.

ringer12,

Deutche had NG as a hold with a target price of £9.20. It has now re-iterated its negativity on NG with a target price of £9.50...

It's just them re-iterating an opinion because they have some losses to get back. No one were paying any attention so they change their rating, up the target price and claim it as a 'Downgrade' 'Big News'.

Ignore them, they are re-spouting to fulfil an agenda.
