Nice update this morning and with the US markets climbing after the close here, hopefully we can make up some of the losses of the last few days. Can’t believe it was only last week that there was a placing at £2.30 and my first buy at just under that level.

hhhhmmmm was the share price inflated to get the placing away at a good price, looking weak ever since.

But despite all that is going on still cash flow and EBITDA positive during this time due to contracted work and government assistance. Up until the current situation the business was growing very nicely. The cash flow gives me comfort that NEX will ride the storm and return and exceed former levels. Good gains to be had on a 1 to 2 year timeframe.

if the share price was at £4 i would be worried - but with a succesful placing already away at 230p i take the view that the bad news is already factored in so the only way is up - how much more bad news is there ? the customers are only going away for a limited time so its just a case of waiting from here for the patient

These look interesting to me longer term, however as mentioned previously
the share price had bounced around 200% from the March plunge lows, so would not
be surprised to see some banking (short term) profits - worth watching imv.

Public transport is toast, cars motorbikes scooters and if you live close enough bikes....that where to invest....time to dump these, declining business model.

Agreed yes, whatever way you look at it, there is going to be a massive downside impact on their earnings unfortunately, for at least 2-3 years.

What was the placing money for ?

The net proceeds of the Placing will allow the Group to accelerate a reduction in gearing to within a new target range of 1.5 to 2.0 times

So still carrying plenty then

Passenger numbers due to social distancing are going to be less than 25% IMO of what they were before

Very lucky to get so much away at such a price after 100p drop

IMO if a second wave takes off now , buywell sees that low being tested

That's why it's too risky..cash raising going on for fun during these shaggy times..hence my buy order in at 17p to protect my nob from any subsequent drip drip disaster.

Hope this is helping

Don't understand why they felt a need for placing as they had 200m cash on balance sheet, probably more as dividend cancelled and a billion in non committed borrowing facilities.
I can see these trading back at pre covid levels within 12 mths but how far will they drop for best entry

These may be available lower down on any further market weakness.

Trading around 200% higher than the March plunge lows, leaves many sitting
on fat % gains. Some of those may be taken. Just imv obvs.

Bought in yesterday below the placing price for a small opening position. For me the positive, and a big one, is that they are still cash flow and EBITDA positive in the current environment and the amount of their income that is contracted. Underlying business is very good and prior to the current situation the numbers were strong. I have no doubt with NEX that it is time rather than timing that is going to be the important thing.

Management team putting in £1 million, had a small amount. Major headwinds remain.
