29/11/2016 18:29 | Firm. Learn how to edit The post in question was a while back and has been moderated I will be busy, so keep an eye on the kids | mr.oz
29/11/2016 18:29 | Firm there is only 2 CFQD suppliers out there Hansol and Nanoco, the later dose not supply to anyone else other then Samsung and who can meet the demand of TCL???!,Sinbad has never been wrong with his few statements on here. | syd777
29/11/2016 18:23 | Tyre = throw | firminator1
29/11/2016 18:20 | LG,TCL,and Samsung supply anyone still worried about a cash call lolzz. | syd777
29/11/2016 18:06 | Sinbad nice find,I think we have the answer before CES17.,The new Xclusive X1 Series brings together the ultimate picture quality experience, high sound quality, Scandinavian modernist design, powerful audio and video system to create an upscale TV experience. It uses environmentally friendly, cadmium free Quantum Dot technology, the most advanced technology that makes High Dynamic Range (HDR) more dynamic by enabling TVs to reproduce pure colors with lifelike brightness using cutting-edge nano-crystal technology. In addition, primary colors wavelengths delivered by Quantum Dot technology are narrow enough (around 40nm) to meet digital cinema color gamut at 93% of DCI-P3 color space. The black crystal display screen greatly reduces light reflection from 3% to 0.9% and the direct reflection by 90% to effectively display even the black hair in a dark environment. The DELAY was also due to Costum hold ups 2 months ago. | syd777
29/11/2016 17:55 | Good posts I believe TCL and WH will work together after all TCL can't supply Cadium based QDs to Europe. | syd777
29/11/2016 17:43 | Hopefully some meat will be put on the bones at the AGM, only a couple more weeks or so to wait for that. | andycapped
29/11/2016 17:37 | The TCL X1 is 65" - WH initial line was up to 55" - a second line was initially reported as being up to 100" but (as usual) has not been updated on progress... | howl01
29/11/2016 17:27 | Yes think price will come down pretty quickly ..The delay in release is i think down to originally with nanosys but have now switched to wah hong. ...Don't forget runcorn /wah hong just started it takes a few months just for qualifications and then inventory build before they can release | sinbad74
29/11/2016 17:20 | I've been watching that one as well sinbad for 2 or 3 months now - release delayed - have enquired with TCL on release date with no response - my thoughts were WH supply.... very pricy if I remember ~€4k can't see that making a great impact in the materiel given the rapidly improving specs on anticipated new model releases next year - but would be great partner for WH | howl01
29/11/2016 17:08 | I have got a feeling that wah hong are supplying the film for this .. .. . .......May find out for sure at ces17 | sinbad74
29/11/2016 16:57 | Nice to see Slippy get burnt today ;) | syd777
29/11/2016 16:42 | Well up to 100 million offered for QD vision which was a completely bankrupt quantum dot company with half the IP Nano has. Quantum dot TV's moving to 19 million sales in the next 18 months .. and I think that's conservative.... LG bringing out QD TV's soon along with a number of Chinese companies. CES will be interesting. Nano's share price up 20% on 12 months ago... | kuss1
29/11/2016 16:41 | anyone explain the numerous 49.5 buys at the end of the day? not seen this before. Always some new things..guess the share price is rather artificial (?) judging by bb comments. | jfacwc
29/11/2016 15:58 | You use a lot of words to say little to nothing, SSW. | andycapped
29/11/2016 15:40 | In other words institutional ssentimet is decreasing. Deluded bulls will point to those instis remaining or who may have increased slightly to average out heavy losses. Dont be fooled. Overall sentiment is close to negative. | slipperysidewinder
29/11/2016 15:36 | Below are dome importsnt facts for those who may wish to sell but are susceptible to bullish ramping in the face of virtusly zero commercial activity by Nanoco. Insitutional Activity: The institutional sentiment decreased to 1.89 in 2016 Q2. Its down 0.36, from 2.25 in 2016Q1. The ratio turned negative, as 6 funds sold all Nanoco Group PLC shares owned while 26 reduced positions. 30 funds bought stakes while 42 increased positions. They now own 19.93 million shares or 0.04% more from 19.93 million shares in 2016Q1. | slipperysidewinder
29/11/2016 15:18 | OLED is a huge gamble to pull ahead of LCD. LG pulled the trigger and committed to multi-billion US dollar investment in OLED before Samsung showed what CFQD can do. LG lost US$53m on OLED last quarter. Production for 2017 to double to 2m... which is still <1% of global TV sales of 230m. | fil340
29/11/2016 14:45 | What's the point in OLED if the reported reject ratio of OLED TVs is rumoured to be over 40%? Adding serious cost of quality. If they work, QD/QLED TVs are the holy grail, serious colour improvements, seriously improved black/contrast levels and reduced power consumption. | luxaeterna1
29/11/2016 14:38 | Ok - maybe my negativity on yesterday's news was misplaced? - miniscule volumes since and appears to be nearing 50 - I understand nothing - all hail undead Overlord! (tks fil) | howl01
29/11/2016 14:21 | You know, when I think of the all seeing and all knowing ME, and his relationship with investors, the famous quote by Suzy Kassem is at the forefront of my mind. "If sheep elect wolves to be their shepherds, then they deserve to be eaten". | slipperysidewinder |
