17/8/2018 10:17 | what again? | mr.oz
17/8/2018 10:13 | Topped up this morning. ii did a good write up saying be patient large profits will roll in. | trt
17/8/2018 09:50 | Based on what was said in the interim interviews back in March, ME said that the process from intitial NDA to a product ready to sell is around one to two years. So based on that we should have started seeing screens within the last 8-9 months, however clearly other factors have been at play, like getting other aspects of the screen to work. I expect to see TV’s appearing in the new year, purely speculative, but based on announcements of oem’s they are working with and when those announcements were made. Of course companies are free to change their minds very late in the day, and have done so in the past for many technologies. | andycapped
17/8/2018 09:06 | December 16 "This film has been produced by our film coating partner, Wah Hong Industrial Corporation ("Wah Hong"), using cadmium-free quantum dots manufactured in Runcorn. Wah Hong is manufacturing film under Nanoco's CFQD® Fine Color film brand and supplying the film to potential customers for televisions of up to a 60 inch screen size. Commercial discussions are ongoing with various Asian display OEMs for use of the CFQD® Fine Color film. Ok not impressed. Where is the revenue from wahhong since December 2016? | bagpuss67
17/8/2018 09:00 | Nanoco's product is cfqd being supplird to wah hong, who supply film to panel manufacturer's, for use by monitor manufacurer's, who supply wholesalers, who supply retailers, who sell it to joe public. | notimpressed
17/8/2018 08:48 | they haven't got a product have they? they say they will have one. | bagpuss67
17/8/2018 08:38 | one niche monitor is %10000 more than before. as i said patience is the order of the day. it is not a turn key product, development testing and incorporation into end product takes time. But i think you should be more optimistic, as the fact they have a product incorporating cfqd, imples nano cfqd is a mature product, having met all the quality standards required for commercial application and use. | notimpressed
17/8/2018 08:26 | This would go on for years but you have the idea. The odds most definitely are on continued failure to deliver. | bagpuss67
17/8/2018 08:25 | April 16 "We have made substantial progress in the financial year to date. ..... "We continue to make progress in our other target markets and to build our organisation. We look forward to the months ahead with confidence." | bagpuss67
17/8/2018 08:22 | August 16 Amongst other super bullish comments in the trading update "During the year, the Company made substantial progress and achieved a significant number of commercial, technological and organisational milestones." | bagpuss67
17/8/2018 08:19 | December 16 "I am excited by the progress that Nanoco has made following the announcement of our preliminary results in October. We continue to benefit from our decision to adopt a non-exclusive strategy in the display market. Our progress will be underlined at next month's CES, the consumer electronics show in Las Vegas, where we will showcase televisions using our CFQD® Fine Color film. "This film has been produced by our film coating partner, Wah Hong Industrial Corporation ("Wah Hong"), using cadmium-free quantum dots manufactured in Runcorn. Wah Hong is manufacturing film under Nanoco's CFQD® Fine Color film brand and supplying the film to potential customers for televisions of up to a 60 inch screen size. Commercial discussions are ongoing with various Asian display OEMs for use of the CFQD® Fine Color film. | bagpuss67
17/8/2018 08:17 | June 17 This first order is for initial production, which is expected to ramp up over the coming months. Nanoco and Wah Hong expect that cutting edge branded products containing Nanoco's CFQD® resin will begin appearing in the international display market during the second half of the 2017 calendar year. Further demonstrating the Group's continued momentum, Nanoco today confirms that its CFQD® technology is now being evaluated in 16 active TV and monitor programmes with 13 major OEMs (4 April 2017: 14 active programmes with 9 OEMs). August 18 nothing except one very niche monitor | bagpuss67
17/8/2018 08:16 | Why do you assume their is no progress with tv. as everyone knows nano are not the best communicators. even if they were nda's restrict what they can disseminate. Also given cfqd is being used in gaming monitors, tv can't be that far behind. | notimpressed
17/8/2018 08:11 | I said TV display. The rhetoric for the last couple of years has been that Nano is working with multiple parties and that significant progress was being made. We all had legitimate expectations that one of those 13 programs might have yielded a potential commercial TV product this year | bagpuss67
17/8/2018 07:42 | tv display has n't disappeared. their is a time lag from concept to production. Disappointment is the product of reality not not meeting expectation. Again in this instance timelines have been over optimistic in take up by industry. To say we have no presence in display is nonsense, wah hong are supplying film using nano cfqd, for incorporation into gaming monitors. If you want to gamble go down to the bookies, if you want to invest, play the long game. Patience dear boy, patience | notimpressed
17/8/2018 07:08 | The issue is that Nanocos credibility to deliver was already at an all time low as posters on here have seen many many hopes dashed over 7-8 YEARS. Now just when we hoped there was light at the end of the tunnel TV display seems to have disappeared and the supposed saviour contract isn’t what it was made out to be. Now looking at further months of tumbleweed | bagpuss67
17/8/2018 05:43 | So all hopes now pinned on US Space Force and their desire for a nano particle accelerator.... Think we have time for ME to have another Quantum Dump. Is he a Scientologist? | boris cobaka
16/8/2018 20:26 | Riskblue. How many CES is that? I remember the one with the Ill fated LG TV. There must come a point when after watching 10 years of failed promises you give up. The words are the same as Tokyo Electron, Dow, Osram, Merck but Nanoco have failed to commercialise anything. ever. Meanwhile the CEO has enriched himself and various spivs have profited from the ups and downs. Do you really trust ME to deliver now | bagpuss67
16/8/2018 19:20 | Touch Taiwan before then. Last time, that proved to be of more relevance than CES, especially as it’s the Taiwanese OEM’s we’re primarily linked with for display. | andycapped
16/8/2018 18:11 | Don't worry. It'll soon be time for CES optimism (again). Round & round she goes Where she stops nobody knows. As a long time holder and supporter, it's getting harder to stay positive. Have off loaded about 40% but will hang in a bit further. | riskblue
16/8/2018 17:33 | For me the biggest shock was that we had been led to believe there were a number of TV programs that were finally coming to fruition after the one year from design win or whatever cobblers ME was on about. It seems TV could be dead until true QLED in a couple of years time. I know it was just a trading update but still. I thought it was awful. | bagpuss67 |
