08/3/2018 02:52 | Cleverly worded? Like the master ME does ?? Read this part ,its a statement... not clever wording."FULLY CADMIUM FREE !!! " During my talk at the QD Forum, I will share some of the important milestones we’ve achieved in improving the performance of our cadmium free materials to enable this. We will look at how improvements to our current generation of fully Cadmium free materials have enabled them to match the brightness of Cadmium dots | ih_169538
07/3/2018 21:58 | Nowhere in that article Crunch is there any suggestion that Nanosys are beyond any sort of development phase with cad-free, it's very cleverly worded. You've spent months criticising Nanoco for ambiguity and lack of clarity, what exactly does that article confirm? | wjs81

07/3/2018 04:19 | Thinking Nanoco is the only cad free maker is the big issue hxxps://www.photonic The title of your talk is “Cadmium Free Quantum Dots”, why is this topic important to the Display Industry? European environmental regulations (RoHS) have recently extended the exemption that allows traditional Quantum Dots to be sold in the region with a grace period lasting until late 2020. However, at Nanosys we believe it is important for industry to innovate first. Since our founding in 2001, Nanosys has led the industry towards a Cadmium free future with Quantum Dot materials that deliver cutting-edge performance required by display makers, without the heavy metal. While the very first Quantum Dot displays on the market utilized traditional, Cadmium Selenide-based Quantum Dot technology, most of the displays on market today are in fact already free of cadmium and based on Nanosys technology. During my talk at the QD Forum, I will share some of the important milestones we’ve achieved in improving the performance of our cadmium free materials to enable this. We will look at how improvements to our current generation of fully Cadmium free materials have enabled them to match the brightness of Cadmium dots, how our innovative, hybrid Hyperion materials system delivers both color and brightness and also discuss our Cadmium free roadmap including color conversion for LCD and microLED as well as electroluminescent displays. | ih_169538
06/3/2018 14:50 | unusually (even for nano ...) any recent activities of nanoco have failed to grab the attention of anyone, long or short. Needs another news item to be conjured out of the hat, though one preferably with a lot more detail. | jfacwc

23/2/2018 13:10 | Looks like Dow are reaching an interesting stage with their Trevista trademark. This has been held in a reserved state ever since they registered it. If they start selling commercially they have to issue a 'statement of use', but so far they haven't. However they are now reaching the end of their 5th (and I think last permitted) extension to reserving the name. I think this means either they have to issue a statement of use or they have to abandon it. Maybe Dow can sell QD film (as opposed to plain QDs) without using the trademark, or be a subcontractor to Runcorn without using the trademark, but I suspect Dow haven't yet nailed a commercial contract for their QDs. | noccer
23/2/2018 11:58 | Managed to get a few more down here. This is going to turn up quickly.. | rochdae
23/2/2018 10:52 | The key from Nano's latest report is in the summary section .... 'First display sales orders achieved'....so finally the commercial road beginning. And the need for an additional 5 production chemists is an indication of the acceleration ahead. | rochdae
23/2/2018 10:35 | Look at the selling coming in today. It's falling even with that short covering. Remember, that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING ANYONE POSTS ON A FORUM. The market does not pay attention to what people are writing on forums. The market pays attention to fundamentals and whether a valuation is justified. The selling pressure here could also be someone getting hint of a placing coming - I do not know. What I do know, is that this insider dodgy dealing happens! There are always scoundrels "in the know" who deal on information and get away with it. If, at this present moment in time, it is not that, then it will be a view of fundamentals, and re-pricing the stock more appropriately - after the short term hysteria, which in my humble opinion is not warranted. If this company comes up with something material, I will be a buyer and go long. However, I have only seen jam tomorrow here, which is why the stock has not held any of its recent rallies. I could be wrong, and another announcement could follow in future which changes the picture materially. This will be a wonderful thing for shareholders because it will finally mean those deceptive scoundrels at the top here, who have promised big things to investors, might actually deliver. In the meantime, my view is that the stock will gradually fall back under 30p, fully justified on current fundamentals, as investors wait to see if anything material (i.e. something that genuinely provides visibility on significant long term revenue generation that allows free cash to be produced) can actually be delivered by this perennially disappointing company. I won't be making any further posts (or you'll think I'm some form of deramper or some other person who has been on in the past). Let the market decide and let's see how it goes.
