Nowenterprise, link below. Most bb subscribers tend to ignore these computer generated sites (so I'm constantly informed ...). Also chart patters appear taboo, for the more serious investers! Personally, I find everything adds to ones picture of nano.At least the bulls site show their 'history'. It's free if you only want to take a quick look now & again. (hope link works)hTTPs://www.britishbulls.com/Signin.aspx?lang=enJust type nano in search box (top right) - no need to log in.

The topic of a retrace is all dependent on the facts. If the US company is Apple, insiders will know. And the price will continue to rise. All quite likely for a tiny company going forward. And those 25 tonnes of Qdots needed in the next few years will need to come from a very limited supply base... A new industry in the making.

Anyone who's bought before the recent hike has made a handsome profit and thus we're likely to see plenty of profit taking now that the initial flurry of activity has diminished following the last positive RNS. Bearing in mind Nanoco's past form, they'd probably be wise to do so- a bird in the hand and all that.

For LTI's, any pull back will just be another footnote in the history of this company.

Nowenterprise: Link is:

but their previous signals on Nanoco don't seem to have been very successful.

no such luck on Friday, remaining red.Now BBulls showing the big SELL!Fortunes do change so quickly...Speculation on which US company, needs to become reality soon. Having said that, taking on 10 educated Chemists must be costing at least 1/2 million a year, so profits must be anticipated, just for them, of at least 5 million. Haven't seen many figures bandied about recently?

Anyone who has taken profits here today and looking for an alternative investment should take a look at N4P who are off to Japan on Monday to discuss trade deals for its Nuvec nanoparticle delivery system.

Just a suggestion.

It's impossible to get the timing perfect when buying and selling so I buy for the long term. Never know when we might get a sudden RNS just like the other day and then she pops. Got to be in it to win that's the important thing !!

I'd hang off trt, there could be a pull back on profit taking before the next move up. I suppose it all depends on news flow. If we get what we're hoping for then who knows where the price could be. My average is 68p so I've still some way to go yet just to break even. GLA.

All very encouraging ! Thanks to all of you brilliant posters who have dug deep for links.

Technically, end-day share price of 44p has just crested the 50dEMA at 44p; 200dEMA sitting at 66p. Broker's target 67p.

At peak of ramp-up during July, 2016, share price never convincingly broke through the 200d-EMA, then at 79p. Broker's target then was 76p, which is exactly where the share price peaked.

David Blain, Nano's CFO, keeps overheads on a very tight rein, thus most encouraging that Nano is now recruiting production chemists, although they divested staff in October, 2017.

Interesting new patents in Life Sciences, and one late 2017 in exploring applying QDs to both plastic and glass substrates. The latter surely of interest to Merck who are exploring light sensitive glass panels. Nano have declared that they have ceased research in solar. Dow/duPont remains silent, except for declaration back in late summer 2017 that their Trevista dots meet their exacting standards.

The QD Forum in March, 2108 features senior research staff from all of Nanoco, Dow, Nanosys and Samsung; these four are clearly the key global players in the QD market.

Purely my ignorant opinion, but feel that Dow/duPont royalties will be crucial for Nano's quarterly in April. I'm not yet convinced that Runcorn is on peak production for Wah Hong. Edelman has promised to keep us updated with RNSs on new contract.

In summary, and just my opinion, some doubt remains about schedule of income stream, but very encouraging signs that Nanoco is being taken very seriously.

Caesium is *not* a nice metal, not at all. They may be looking at making quantum dots with it in the lab, but *nobody* will be using it for real, at least not in customer-facing hardware.

Looking at some of those Nanoco patents, it's obvious that the company is interested in much more than just quantum dots. They may be the short term (!) market, but there's all kinds of stuff being envisaged for the future.

Of all the US company's Apple is the most advanced with Qdot research, that's for sure.

Also, on the weekly chart MACD has risen above 0 for the first time since October 2016. Looks like real momentum could be building up.
