14/8/2017 18:52 | Yes because there was no time limit on cadmium based dots at that time. So the manfrs went for cheapness over ethics. They cant do that anymore. Now is the time for CFQD. False dawns are behind us. Now we just need Nano to show they are the best placed CFQD company. | tonsil
14/8/2017 18:47 | Facts- Ok, here are some facts. ME has many times released RNS from Nanoco stating great and wonderful opportunities for the company. He has FAILED to deliver his previous RNS. Us long term holders have listened for many years. We are in the second half of 2017. Finally we had a few tv's in a hotel bedroom for CES. Our first commercial order a couple of months ago. Nanoco's long term holders have been put through hell by ME. Even now with his silence. Nanoco = Hope. Dow is expected to begin commercial production of Nanoco quantum dots in Cheonan, South Korea, in the first half of 2015 to provide high volume supply for its display industry customers. ----- "The transfer to South Korea of the production of cadmium free quantum dots, which we previously expected to be performed in Runcorn, is being accelerated. As a result, we now expect the plant to be ready to supply material to meet potential customers' commercial requirements within the first quarter of calendar year 2016. Currently, they are being sampled with film that uses quantum dots produced in Nanoco's Runcorn production facility. ----- LG will unveil a new 4K ULTRA HD TV with quantum dot technology as a new component of its expanded television line up at the 2015 International CES® in Las Vegas that will be held between 6-9 January 2015. | mrplay
14/8/2017 17:46 | "All the new share holders that luckily jumped in at the low share price constant praising as they think they jumped aboard just before the sky rocket jump. Slowly start to understand the long term headache that is the nanoco silence."I bought in at the share price low. I will look to add on any funding related weakness.I don't have a headache.A few facts:- the nano IP has been in development for 20+ years.- it is the product of dozens of PhD specialists and leaders in the field.- NANO has relationships with some of the largest companies in the field - dow, merck, samsung.- cad free QD is the tech choice of the oem leader, samsung - NANO is one of very few companies capable of producing, with its partners, industrial scale volumes of cad free Qd's.- the valuation is circa 70%+ below peak. All these facts suggest they have a great chance of building a meaningful business, and a share price that will be highly leveraged to any progress made.If applying some intuition isn't your bag, and the only facts that motivate you are realised sales and profit and a fat balance sheet - then you can wait. Cost of doing so - the first 300-500% move.GLA! | wigwammer
14/8/2017 17:40 | slippy, I value bearish posts but it gets increasingly difficult to respect your opinion when I ask a direct and valid question about sources and you choose to ignore it. A message board is effectively a medium for investors to pool collective knowledge, assess sources for all information and come to a probalistic determination on a given timescale on price movement. Saying 'my sources say x' then choosing to ignore the question for source of information so we can collectively assess it is the message board equivalent of fake news and these type of comments, if made by anyone, should be considered by all as at best irrelevant and at worst pump/dump attempts. If you wish to restore your public credibility please kindly reference your sources so we can assess them. Thank you. | friskywookie
14/8/2017 15:38 | I'm "guessing" finances are poor so they won't release any trading update. Next date to look out for then is the show in Germany. Where again guessing they will show the first commercial television from philips. 18 days to go | mrplay

14/8/2017 13:06 | I agree boris. I told the board of plan B weeks ago. Sources tell me that is the likely route. | slipperysidewinder
14/8/2017 12:59 | The appointment of the sales guy Yao was seen by many as a positive decision which medium to long term is definitely the case. For me though it was an immediate short term red flag. They were basically saying well we've tried the unconventional route without much success and so we feel it necessary to appointment someone who knows what to do. We saw the results of their unorthodox approach over recent months -nada! It does make me think they were prepared to bend over backwards to get that first order just so they had something to tell the market. It's also no doubt why the reluctance to release any detail which would clearly demonstrate the extent to which they've were rodgered..... The ongoing discussions with other parties blah, blah, blah, is simply flim flam to assist in the ruse. Conservatively i'd allow 6 months before any further order news which would give Mr Yao time to ring a few doorbells. T/U hmmm. Doesn't look like it, especially if there's no market regulation that requires them to provide one. Funding? I just wonder what the contingency is. Plan B is quite possibly being finalized now. Think we'll know this fairly soon. | boris cobaka
