It's a good question ih_ and one that I have also asked (I didn't get an answer either). Bearing in mind the language used ("the probability is.." etc) then he's inferring a greater than 50% chance, which is probably why he hasn't ever given an answer..

N4 are targeting multiple deals Nobbo, it only takes one to provide all the cash they need.

If I was AZ I would string out the discussions as long as possible as the cash slowly runs out... That is how it works in Pharma.

There is a good chance that the AZ collaboration will be signed into a deal and there is also a good chance of further deals before the end of the year.

Hugh's post about a good chance they will never need further funding is one to save for bringing up in the future. Naive is most definitely the word.... When you are in a hole, it is usually a good idea to stop digging....

I do find it quite funny how you keep saying things like 'anyway, work to do' and 'if and when I get free time' .. not sure what you do in your hectic work life but you've posted 13 times on here today as well as some twitting. Good to see the bet is on though - at least some charities will benefit from all this..

Ok November 13th it is. If a fund raising comes before Christmas, it will still be a moral victory for me. I am not worried about the money anyway as I give more than that to charity regularly.

So the bet is on. How exciting!

In fact there is a good chance that N4 will never need further funding.
The company says that they are well funded well into 2019.
They also say that all Nuvec work will be completed by the end of this year and that they will be ready to sign deals from 2019.
One deal with upfront payments will see N4 well funded well into the future and that is just one deal. I am expecting a number of deals over time.

Nobbo, you set the bar at 2 to 3 months. Given that you know all there is to know (LOL) I would have expected that you were confident with that or are you worried that what you stated will be found wanting.

And you said funded well into 2019 so Christmas is a good compromise. Actually on reflection the most likely time IMHO is early to mid December when the market is quiet.

So by Christmas. Deal? After all you are so confident that there will be no fund raising because Nigel told you, a few extra weeks won't make any difference. Or are you secretly worried I may be correct.......LOL

Lewis, that's right and I still stand by that. If Nuvec becomes the industry standard then the revenues it will be pulling in will be way beyond peoples expectations let alone the upfront payments, but as I said, one step at a time.

Nobbo, the timescale you gave was two to three months. I would be happy to give to charity if you are proven correct within that time.

Also unlike others on this BB who spend all day every day on share BB`s, I do actually work so its a case of as and when I get free time.
