Gnome, any thoughts on Nuvec? It looks interesting but it is still very early stage. Their current studies are pre-development studies... if studies are successful, they will have the data enabling them to decide on the best development pathway to pursue in 2019. Okay for very long-term investors but still early stage as it's pre-development until 2019. How long will development take and how long before they have something that will get meaningful licensing deals from? They are a bit vague with the 2019 date as well and should have identified which quarter regarding when they hope to commence the development pathway.

As I said above, I am not a trader by nature but the opportunity just seemed too good to miss out on. As it turned out it was disappointing because the bounce did not happen but a decent profit in that instance was not bad.

I have not sold a single share of my main holding. None of the main shareholders that I know of have, and all say that they added yesterday with one of my contacts adding 300,000.
Yesterday was all about trading the bounce which as I stated did not happen but was still able to end the day with a decent profit and yes my entry and exit points were pretty good which I am happy about as I am not a trader by nature.

HughW ... yes more Nuvec news could come before the year end but I think N4P's local AZ connections helped with that very early stage deal that puts little money in N4P's piggy bank and costs Medimmune next to nothing. I'd like to see N4P get a Nuvec deal with a Company where they have no personnel connections and some decent lump sum. Realistically, that's not going to come for a lengthy period of time.

Can you clear up whether you sold recently prior to the disappointing Sildenafil result thus enabling you to be in contact with your broker all day after the drop to buy back? It must have been a lot of shares to necessitate contact all day with your broker.

To be clear, I am not inferring insider trading but no doubt those smart and proactive enough to connect closely with the CEO's of a company they invest in can sometimes get a feel for things. You've mentioned you have a hotline to Nigel T.

The sildenafil trial did not fail, it did not meet its patent profile. The worst case scenario would have been that it was no better than Viagra. As it stands it might be an easy fix. Full data later will give us the answers to that question.

And to counter what the idiot dplewis1 likes to portray, that I am now pushing Nuvec. I have not mentioned them today at all but yes Nuvec news could drop at any time as the company state that they are looking to add further collaborations this year and that talks are being "progressed"

Apparently I have a twisted agenda, which in my last post was to quote directly from Hugh himself to prove a point I was making.. Funny that you use the term groupthink - I used the same term when referring to the twitter group (there's some textbook confirmation bias going on with the likes of space robot, antman and mr wilson). They won't listen, but they won't go away either..
