Basically nbrown has had its day was to slow to adapt to changing spending, failed with its stores was to slow to go from mainly catalog to internet sales. It's lagged behide the competition if it wasn't for simply be and jac nbrown wouldn't be worth investing in

I think nbrown is still showing the after affects of it changing from catalog into digital, its new build and dematic system still has its gremlins to be worked over

N Brown's share price has lagged behind other retailers by a significant %, over the past 4 months at least. Looking at the fundamentals I cannot explain it.
So there must be other reasons why the price is depressed. The market cap is large enough for it to be analysed by brokers.
big sellers selling shares in drips?
If anyone can shed light on this, it would be good, otherwise I am seriously thinking of liquidating my holding. I do not like holding on to shares which behave contrary to my perception.

N Brown’s forecast price to earnings ratio of 9 is paltry compared to the 94 times commanded by shares in Asos, the darling of online fashion retail. N Brown can do what Asos did for the 16 to 30-year-old market for the 45-plus market If you compare it to the ratings of Amazon and Asos, N Brown looks like a stock that is anomalous from a rating perspective.

Amazon to become ‘top US clothing retailer by 2017’

Amazon will displace Macy’s to become the number one US apparel retailer by next year, according to analysts at Cowen and Company.

“[Our calculation] implies a gain in US apparel & accessories market share from 5% to 14%,” said the analysts led by John Blackledge. Bloomberg reported: “We have seen a continued shift away from more traditional retailers…In the first quarter of 2016, Amazon apparel purchasers were up 19% year-over-year, while apparel purchasers fell 1% year-over-year and 5% year-over-year at Wal-Mart and Target, respectively.”

Bloomberg reported that there is an obvious trend looking at the revenue from electronics and general merchandise and that the etail giant has seen continuous growth in its retail business with the expansion of its Prime offering.

Amazon is stepping up its fashion ambitions in the UK with the hire of former M&S womenswear director Frances Russell, who started at the firm in mid-March.
