Stoaty Whoever buys it privately will need to pump cash in , for any shareholder this has been a true example of mismanagement and ineptness ... The disaster you get when management are there by their relationship rather than skill set !

seekr, you do talk nonsense, Sir P.Green will certainly not right a cheque. It is more likely that one of the Jacksons well.

As predicted since the Day of its ill-fated IPO debacle I always thought this would go to zero. I'm surprised it's still trading above 2p share :) ! Mind you it could simply be karma for the Founders and cornerstone strategic shareholders.

Family run means nothing when you keep making bad choices ... why on earth would it be more profitable with the same people continuing in the same chairs ...

The Bank will be knocking on the door wanting a lot more security after the sharedrop and trading conditions. I think unless Philip green writes a cheque and why would be for a distribution centre in Australia . Then it’s gone bankrupted by poor management

Don't understand why this has dropped so much today -65% on announcing a strategic review! Not said delisting or placing yet, just that they're exploring all options. Family run and management have huge stakes here, so they're not going anywhere and will be determined to address the issues.

Bizarrely their business model might work well in a slowdown/recession. The family owning this stock DO have the money to sort this i understand, and as both brothers are showing huge losses, am sure they have the will to save/turn it around if possible. The business model is good, so who knows, could be a phoenix and recover some/much of its lost ground. Must admit that at 2P I am tempted to buy some.

There are still a few retailers weathering the storm. DNLM a good example.

Remember Carl Jackson’s background is not running retail businesses It’s organising IPOs for companies I think the only reason this stock hasn’t been taken private is with the exception of Sir Philip they do not have the available cash to do it yet. No value paying all the cost of being listed with the stock trading at this level. No management change can come as Carl and Jamie are locked into their positions .
