Myhealthchecked Takeover Rumours (MHC)

Today for me was exactly what I assumed may happen. We fell to 11.25p which is a one year support level. It hit it 3 times and so I’m hoping we can put a base in and rise. One year ago today we announced results however how ironic we should fall to 1 year support line of 11.25p. News on new products is the key as COVID income slows. I just ask how a board has failed to capitalise on weakness in other stocks and not considered a takeover bargan as companies struggle. So strange they remain silent and date on results. I just feel many investors have deserted think due to lack action from the Directors etc. They really need to question whether they have done anything with the money raised from COVID revenue or just going to continue taking decent salaries at investors expense. Sorry but the share price and less than 6m valuation demonstrates the lack of action from the board who really need to take a look at themselves and justify salaries

I guess when you look at companies like GDR with results today showing they have great products but miss managed cash you have to be grateful for out board with Penny leading it. Extremely prudent and self sufficient. With a Market cap of just 4.5m and no cash could GDR be a good takeover to strip the assets and cement a presence! Someone will be considering it a cheap takeover in my opinion minus the management

Could ABDX be vulnerable to a takeover given share price keeps falling and the cash burn rate. They could be potentially be a good fit for MHC who has cash and knowledge of the pregnancy test market which ABDX has developed a great product in. Maybe not a direct takeover but some sort of collaboration. MHC would be able to expand its product base into various places ABDX has established itself due to the salistick it’s developed. This one catching my eye because it’s burning cash whilst concentrating on revenue over profit. It finance situation makes it a takeover target or a strategic alliance candidate for someone like MHC

Morning all It’s end of January and first month of 2024 out the way. Hopefully we get guidance from the Chairman or Penny as regards protecting sales of new products very soon. Adam did say in investor meeting Late December or early 2024 so I’m definitely anticipating something shortly. Any I believe we would already be close to the first six months figures of 2023 already and believe turnover of nearly 2m in January with Covid and new products combined. That gives us 5 months extra. If new tests are gaining traction you would expect a rerate and with increased share price I’d expect the company to raise capital for expansion via takeover rather than relying on organic growth alone.

What would one consider a large position to mount a takeover

I was told by a friend years ago who's dad was CFO of a very large plc that anyone who takes a significant position in a company and says they have no takeover intention is lying ....

Blackhorse All the best but you’ll end up trying to jump back in at higher prices. This is well undervalued and was 7p pre consolidation 3 years ago and now has over 20 products! Cash in the bank and a potential takeover target. Results due and expect a great second half comeback like Man U against Villa. You see it’s a game of two halves
