Posted at 20/11/2023 15:25 by mortal1ty When this business was IPO'd, it was forecast that in 2024, the business would be making £180m in sales, and £15.6m EBITDA, with £2.9m debt. That is what that £200m valuation was predicated on and investors bought into.In their last interims they had £70m sales, £2.8m EBITDA, and have racked up £14m in net-debt.... so... I think we can all agree that £200m was build on some seriously hopeless forecasts. |

Posted at 05/6/2023 16:49 by ny boy So many AIM listings have been exposed in markets of rising rates and for longer, nearly 90% wiped off the listing share price Doesn’t mean it’s a buy, maybe once the FED pivots in Q4 and some investors start looking for more riskier assets, no need to at present as 2yr US treasuries are yielding 4.5% approx just to park cash with zero risk. Stock markets treading water, economies slowing, credit crunch underway, makes it extremely difficult and expensive for minnows to borrow cash. |

Posted at 07/12/2022 15:49 by darrin1471 I also used to have stock on Amazon which MMAG used to under cut. But so did every other seller. MMAG were one of the first to have an automated price drop, then they would suddenly pop the price back up again.I never invested in MMAG due to the timing of the IPO. The price of used gaming consoles and games rocketed during the Covid lockdown and no doubt have been falling since. I therefore worried that at the time of the IPO that MMAG's stock was over valued. The rental business of used items looks like a good idea and MMAG are ideally set up to make it work. However this is a completely new side to the business without history and not what was sold to investors in the IPO. Do not hold but watch with interest. |
