08/8/2017 13:36 | Wow someone forced to take 4.85 for a mere ten grand sale ! Not good. | my retirement fund
31/5/2017 11:58 | Bull signal | zoolook
31/5/2017 11:05 | Well if that proves the case the share price wont be going anywhere fast.Worth acquiring on bad days for a steady dividend though. | my retirement fund
31/5/2017 07:12 | Rupert Mucklow (Chairman) and Justin Parker (CEO) know the industry, and the local marketplace intimately. Members of the family are still very interested in the company. I would say that a successful bid, at the current time, would be impossible. | redartbmud
30/5/2017 18:48 | From memory the concert party that has control over Mucklow is around 50% of the shares. Highly unlikely to be acquired in my view. Think everyone is happy with the status quo. | topvest
28/5/2017 08:28 | For other posters, believe me it was not intended as a flyby comments.I had not realised it was zoolock otherwise I wouldn't have even replied, this poster is full of incorrect analysis and can be quite a nasty kettle of fish at the best of times. Shareholding error case in point and childish excuse regarding why he posted both case in points! | my retirement fund
28/5/2017 07:08 | ps Sorry about overstating the shareholding | zoolook
28/5/2017 07:06 | It's 10 years since I owned MKLW so just reacting to MRF who gets up my nose with his drive-by comments on various boards. To my mind MKLW rates as a highly unlikely takeover target as a cautious (low debt) family run business with a high shareholding where most investors are likely to be long term buy and hold after steady away growing income and asset value in a dull sector rather than agitating for share price growth probably achieved by increased debt which would increase risk. If it where taken over it would be a great shame | zoolook
27/5/2017 22:54 | Erm not all takeover offers are hostile. Infact most are very amicable.Do you imagine the larger shareowners would turn diwn a good offer? Honestly, really ?? | my retirement fund
27/5/2017 21:59 | How exactly do you see that happening when the Mucklow's own half the shares. | zoolook
26/5/2017 07:18 | Not really done a lot in three years. Could this fall prey to a larger predator? | my retirement fund
06/9/2016 11:23 | As always I found their statement very useful in terms of the dynamics of the property market in the midlands: interested in their comments on shortage of vacant industrial property and also the shortage of land round B'ham able to have more than 50ksqft buildings. Congrats to those who bought sub 400p post referendum; a convincing statement and good financial position but concerns on macro picture prevent me from buying atm. | cerrito
02/6/2015 06:58 | Wrong thread, sorry | davydoo
01/6/2015 12:15 | Ex Div Friday 5th. Interim 9.31p | busthief2
29/5/2015 17:07 | denbos Small regional operator, so of limited interest to the great unwashed I'm afraid. Any specifics on your list? red | redartbmud
29/5/2015 13:56 | Looks like a good well run company with consistent results. Doing some research but disappointed with silence of this thread...... | denbos |
