Greek default is priced into the market here imo - if you had bought these on the dip last Aug you made 50% in a few months - trouble is you can never get much volume when that bounce has started.

Looking very cheap with loads of cash, probably over 35p eps and a good order book. In this market though you just can't tell if it will get cheaper and what effect a Greek default will have on future prospects.

Weak this morning on no trades, I guess we should expect a late trade to show at some point?

I'd say the director loads up regularly for a reason and I expect that is a rising divi as I don't see MSI being taken out. They do have a good history of a progressive dividend (except for the global crash)

Any thoughts on the divi here?

If the full year is raised the same percentage as the interim then 10p for the year might be on the cards - a final divi of over 8p?

There are sheep who follow him religiously but in market conditions like this the good go down with the bad. Personally will be looking to add come June in the run up to results.

Not sure if this is a reaction to the Naked trader selling?

Getting tempted to add.

CR - Agreed. Volume has been tiny on this drop back.

look at the past rallies tho Greenroom, imo. Very illiquid - quite common for these to rise 20% or more in a week. I doubt trying to buy after a trading update/results will allow people to buy more than 500 to 1000 without a tick up.

4 weeks to go or so to results.

So it didn't break the way we hoped it would, but guess the wider world not helping sentiment. Results in 2-3 weeks will hopefully reverse things for us.

Well, last year saw the divi hiked to 6.5p from 4.5p, so perhaps this year we can hope for anything from 8.5p upwards to potentially even 9.5p or 10p depending on working capital needs etc.

I'm wondering if we will see another dividend hike this year. We got a boost to the interim divi 6 months ago and with the regular director buying (after each statement) you would expect that they would be keen to see a return on their regular investments.

Excellent spot Mr T re post 1481. It does say "MSI's remotely operated 30mm guns", so I think you're right about this being another order.

Given the director buying at 294.5p less than 2 months ago - basically the same share price as today - I'm pretty confident that the forthcoming news flow will be pretty decent.

:-)

Year end was on Friday so always the possibility of a trading update before then perhaps.

The first you will know about the results is when they appear at 9am some time around 8th June. Everything about msi is top secret and only available on a need-to-know basis. If they told you they would have to kill you afterwards ;-)

Has MSI sold another 12 guns? 2x30mm per ship on a six ship order to the Malaysian government?

There's a nice trend of positive news coming out of MSI recently.

Today's Times reports that the Convoy Escort Programme. which is raising money to provide armed patrol boats to protect against Somali and other pirates, is now likely to go ahead after a $30m fundraising, with another $40m to come for a further 11 vessels.

I'd have thought these boats would be ideal for MSI's lightweight Seahawk gun systems.

A £6k buy has woken the share price up. Let the bells ring out :o))

I assume the 5k at 295p today was a Buy leading to the price rise.
