And they paid 187.5p ! They bought them from the pension scheme,so the share price price spike was not caused by the co.buying the 200K thru the market.

Very few posters on this share.Earnings of 18.2p so p/e now around 10...less if you strip out the cash of 7.6m.Orders up 24% and business conditions favourable.Time to set a price target I feel.Mine is 210p but with only 5 of us liking them plus CRs wife's pension scheme ,may take a while.DYOR

Hmmmm. Thought there might have been more reaction to the news. Maybe a mixture of sneaking them out on a Friday night after hours like a theief in the night and the Dow tank as well not helping. Surprised to be able to add 5000 at 164(not showing yet) first thing. Oh well, fingers crossed.

eps based on 16.557 mill shares. currently 18.72 mill in issue.

Yep, they beggar belief putting out results at that time of day.

They are good results but the company just hasn't got a clue regarding PR. No news now for 5 months as MSI don't do news!

I only have the small few left in the wife's pension now that I bought back a few months ago so I'm pretty ambivalent as to what they do really. They would trade on a much better rating if they had decent PR, posted news between results, were a bit more liquid etc, which is a shame as I think I'd have been happy holding more shares and for longer if that was the case.

You might be right about the MBO Cambium. I reckon they won't miss the chance of the move to AIM that they spoke about first to make sure they squeeze all they can from it if they do.

Good results tho - at least the wifes pension might be a tad bright on Monday after the Dow's tanking last night :-)

I know they don't exactly court publicity but leaving it til after the close on a Friday to release the figures beggars belief. Especially as the numbers are good & the outlook rosy.
The PR does need addressing imo.

last year results were 27th june can t find the date for this year but with only 5 weeks to go we might see a little buying in antcipation, problem the company is not good at keeping the shareholders informed so a bit of a lottery on what the results will tell us

Anybody got any idea what's driving this over the last couple of days? Whatever the reason, used opportunity to reduce holding (can you still call it top slicing when its not a top??) by 1/3rd.

64,000 cross trade (£98,000) !? Buybacks? The last ones were in Dec '05 at 146p
