Chester, a word of warning here - and maybe the reason for the latest decline? I'd been thinking about buying back in once the dust settled heer, but this from today's Sunday Times is not good news for MSI - it's the type 45's for which MSI's defence systems are deployed:

"Half of Royal Navy's ships in mothballs as defence cuts bite
Michael Smith

HALF of the Royal Navy is to be "mothballed" as it bears the brunt of cuts imposed after a series of expensive procurement projects and the hidden costs of the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Six destroyers and frigates and two other vessels are expected to be put into reduced readiness, known as mothballing, to achieve urgent savings of more than £250m. It can take up to 18 months to bring mothballed ships back into service.

The armed forces have been told to save more than £250m this year, and £1 billion by April 2008, amid a "rebalancing" of the Ministry of Defence's (MoD's) spending plans, defence sources disclosed.

The MoD will also cancel the last two of the eight Type-45 destroyers the navy was supposed to get. The navy was promised the government would provide these in exchange for cutting 15 major ships in 2004, sources said.

Julian Lewis, the Tories' defence spokesman, said the fresh cuts were "absolutely devastating stuff" and that cutting the number of Type-45 destroyers would be "catastrophic"."

Has anybody got any thoughts on the real reason why Michael Bell backed of from the aim listing?.

Thanks for that. I've had a quick look at the co. and it doesn't seem to me as if it justifies being this lowly rated. Time will tell I suppose. Had a small punt there(trade not showing yet). Good luck with it to all holders anyway.

I don't think forecasts are ever available for this company, CWA1. Investor relations are not their forte. I think they are probably quite good value at this price - but in the absence of forecasts, it's hard to be sure.

If you go by the chart then MSI is at a crucial support level. If it fails to hold then next likely support level would be around 135p, then around 126p. Can't see it going any lower than that.

Afternoon Everyone

Couldn't help but notice that the price has drifted off a wee bit of late. Wondered if it was getting tempting or if the consensus is that it has further to go? Anyone got any up to date forecasts for the co.? Thanks in advance for any helpful comments.

I'm holding my wedge of MSI too....... sure the results were a little disappointing but the 20% drop in price is a little too excessive in my opinion. Haapy to hold and review over the next 6 months or so.

Still holding. Wish I'd been quicker and sold at the open yesterday, but at this price they look good enough value to me.

Looks like all the holders from this board + naked trader followers all sold yesterday(including me), shares look decent value now but there looks a lack of interest now, interesting to see if people who sold start buying back in at lower prices. one market maker raised the bid to try and drum up some interest!
