Maybe I am old school.
My company jumps when the customer calls!
We do answer the phone {quickly}.

Thanks - west of england - seems no hold up expected, other than booking the room! AGM notice period means that the results will be published in the next week or two?

cheers

'Anyone else find it weird that they don’t answer the phone?'

Not really.

Basically it goes with the territory. More old school in approach. Love it or hate it.

The executive chairman is the largest shareholder and has been for decades. Run more like a family owned firm. Tends to be good for 'family' (including long term investors) and long term investment in the business, not so good for short term investor gain and communications.

They have no debts, are stuffed with assets, have a very large pile of cash and have no need of fresh funds from short term shareholders - who are expected to trust management. Not an easy thing to do these days?

Sometimes that can lead to lazy management. That seems not to be the case here and the evidence shows that they are using all their recourses to keep their customers happy, make sales and invest in future products even if they don't answer investors calls. I hope that accurately reflects their priorities?

cheers

I called this week and got through. The lady I spoke to said that the AGM will be on 28th July subject to her booking the room at the Hotel.

Don't think thet they are in the habit of naming the date in advance. Last year it was 22nd June, and the year before 1st July. So we are in the window when they could drop at any time?

cheers

I would hope any day now - they were early July in 2020 so perhaps next week. Auditors might be dragging their heels.

Anyone know when the company will be announcing full year results?
I have called them several times but they don't answer the phone.
Hopefully they do better for existing and potential customers. Lol!

Actually it seems these additional boats may be drawn down from existing US Navy stock so we’ll have to wait for further details.

Edit - yes looks like they will be 2 x 35' riverine craft, 6x 40' maritime combat craft boats and 10x 34' Dauntless Sea Ark patrol boats according to officials - all coming from existing US stock.

Hopefully this might mean the US Navy order new MkVI patrol boats for themselves with MSI mounts....will have to wait for further news.

Norbert thank you for posting the link to that project. Very impressive.

I've seen the project being promoted, so I'm delighted MSI are involved - it looks to be setting a new standard and I can imagine good future business flowing from this.

Nice project recently completed by MSI for Shell:https://www.shell.co.uk/motorist/ev-charging/shell-recharge-fulham-road-our-first-uk-all-ev-charging-hub.htmlMSI undertook the construction of the project's retail sales building that features a Costa Coffee store and a Little Waitrose & Partners shop offer. Global-MSI was responsible for the design, manufacture & installation of the building steel frame, roof & wall cladding, as well as the double-glazed shop front

If i'm reading that correctly Simon, the 3 PSC's will require 6 mounts in total which were originally spec'd as Mod 3 (non MSI) with further possible upgrades to other types of USGC cutter.

The first batch of our 30mm naval guns for supply to the US Navy is in production for delivery in the second part of this financial year, alongside various other export sales items.

This is from the Interims - does anyone know what the other export sales items relate to?
