14/3/2017 09:54 | That tiny £430 top up on nex that jumped the price up was mine.Every little helps and all that.Firm 3p target here so don't mind topping up when I feel. At 3p I won't care whether it was 1.37, 1.42 or 1.5 Etc. | mikeh30
14/3/2017 09:50 | I agree jakleeds, it is just a matter at what level investors were waiting to top up. As a rule I don't average down, but admit to being very tempted here to break my rule. | interceptor2
14/3/2017 08:45 | Bouncing. I think many will regret not topping up at these levels . | jakleeds
13/3/2017 21:26 | Exactly. And how many companies can win contracts worth more than their own market cap. | jakleeds
13/3/2017 20:05 | What needs consideration is that this company is only valued at £3m | paulbristol

09/3/2017 19:04 | The foundation has been put in now with the trading statement, day traders are out. All we need is a nice contract win now.ISG Plc, Skanska, Kier, Square Metre etc all doing well with contracts. CAF/MBG surely tendering for some large contracts | mikeh30

09/3/2017 12:50 | A reminder of what they said at half year results - makes you wonder what will the PBT number be for the full year given the big increase in margins . " 20 September 2016 Mountfield Group Plc (the "Company" or the "Group") Half-yearly report to 30 June 2016 Mountfield Group Plc , the AIM listed construction company specialising in supplying and installing raised access flooring and the construction, fitting out and refurbishing of data centres and commercial and residential buildings, announces its half-yearly report to 30 June 2016. -- Gross profit of GBP1m (H1 2015: GBP1.1m) on revenue of GBP4.9m (H1 2015: GBP7.3m). -- Group margins increased from 14.8% (in the first half of 2015) to 20.8%. -- Net profit before tax increased from GBP246k (in the first half of 2015) to GBP316k. -- Directors expect the performance to continue in the second half of the year. -- The business of Connaught Access Flooring Limited ("CAF" or "Connaught") continues to cement its position as a market leader. -- Mountfield Building Group Limited ("MBG") is now able to achieve sustainable profitability. -- Neither Company has seen a post-Brexit decline in business activity. Andy Collins - Group CEO said: "The results are particularly satisfying because they show that the Board's key objectives of establishing Connaught as a market leader in the raised access flooring market and positioning MBG on a path of sustainable profitability, have been met." | jakleeds
08/3/2017 16:34 | Well, no pullback. That bodes very well imo. Way too cheap here . | jakleeds
08/3/2017 09:28 | Proactive Investors yesterday : 9.15am ...Mountfield Group buoyed by resurgent City building Mountfield Group Plc (LON:MOGP) delighted its supporters by revealing both arms of its flooring business traded profitably in 2016 and should do better again this year. Connaught Access Flooring did especially well, Andy Collins, chief executive said, with two new contracts in the City worth £3.7mln also making for an ‘extremely strong’ start to this year. That followed completion last year of a £6mln contract in the Square Mile. Mountfield Building has also started the year with a good order book while a new strategy of focusing on low risk contracts is paying off said Collins. “The problems it faced in past years are now behind it as MBGs business has become more profitable and CAF continues to develop on the basis of strong sector demand." | jakleeds
08/3/2017 09:13 | Yep, results in June with meat on the bones in terms of numbers for last year. What will PBT be I wonder. Costs reduced, margins greatly improved and the likelihood of more good contract wins. All bodes well. | jakleeds

07/3/2017 17:38 | Well i hope so jakleeds. And certainly for you i hope this is finally the turning point here with the management getting the company back onto a growth track. You are certainly to be commended for staying with this.. | cfro
07/3/2017 15:43 | IC2 , I know. I remember cfro telling me he had run out of patience here. I'm hoping he's timed it right again :-) | jakleeds
07/3/2017 15:15 | Good to see you here jakleeds and cfro. Reading the upbeat language that the year started extremely strongly and that the market is buoyant could very well mean more contract news on the way. It feels that after all the hard work restructuring MBG, Directors are are very keen to inform the market about the strong turnaround here. Even after a 40% price increase, MOGP still looks rather cheap imo. ps, It's been a while Jakleeds, was last invested here 3 years ago... | interceptor2
