10/10/2017 19:04 | OK kid - sensible assessment, but I'm sick of waiting. I want more action, otherwise my interest in investing will expire. | kingharold
10/10/2017 18:51 | The bare facts are that even in the investing community, I suspect 90% of people don't know about Mountfield and the story, flooring ain't exactly an inspiring sector - until the company start promoting themselves better, then we are at the mercy of a small but growing band of holders and sellers. Alternatively, we have to wait. Wait for the seller to finish. Wait for the contracts to drop into the accounts. Wait for the press to pick it up. Wait for the wider investors to buy in to both the 'growth stock' story and then the shares themselves. I had hoped for some serious movement this year, and that might still happen, but we need one hell of a trading update to kick start the action. The only thing i do know, is that once this does blow properly it will rocket. Other than that, I think we are looking at one of the Shares of 2018. | molatovkid
10/10/2017 17:17 | Won't look back, yet still posting here. We are still in a positive range, the contracts aren't priced in. I wish you well Harold, but leave now mate, you're boring. | kingkongtimmo
10/10/2017 17:02 | Well, it's horses for courses. When I bought the MOGP stock I was gradually moving from my earlier position of holding long-term stock (e.g Lloyds, RBS [had 'em many years now])) to taking mid to short-term stock, which produced quite good returns until Brexit appeared (but funnily enough not as much as the early gains in long-term stock, because of recession recovery). So I'm now in short-term quick turnover mode. Because of that I wanted rid of MOGP. So I sell Friday afternoon - they announce £4m of work Monday morning - but by Tuesday night they are down seven per-cent on my sell. I'll sleep well tonight, and I won't look back. | kingharold
10/10/2017 16:56 | That is the problem A2584728, I really wasn't keen to buy into a micro cap again, but just couldn't ignore the contract wins here and the turnaround at MBG. Will have to accept that it will be a bumpy ride and will need to use a different strategy than when holding larger cap stocks. | interceptor2
10/10/2017 16:27 | I just think there is no interest in these micro cap companies, there can be no other reason, there will always be buyers and sellers | a2584728
10/10/2017 16:01 | Healthy volume once again today. One wonders how much more sellers selling can there be? | cfro
10/10/2017 12:49 | Let's hope so, if you guys keep adding there maybe an issue when trying to get out?I am here until 3+p. | a2584728
10/10/2017 12:38 | No delisting or MBO imo. The end game is a takeover at £20million + They have won one of the largest access flooring contracts in the city of London, and will announce more soon. | jakleeds
10/10/2017 12:13 | Maybe it's been suppressed to allow a delisting or MBO. ? One never knows, but the share price should be higher than this on the news flow. | a2584728
10/10/2017 11:33 | But not for less than £20million | jakleeds
10/10/2017 11:19 | I'm going to add some more too soon.I do agree the seller will be done soon.Really looks as though the board have maybe taken the hint and increased news flow. They have released several good contract wins and the share price is nearly at a 3 year high. I think there will be another couple of contracts before a trading statement (materially/signific | mikeh30
10/10/2017 11:12 | I've bought a few more myself. This is only a £5m m/cap, and any seller will be out of stock soon enough. At which point there should be a very nice continuation of the re-rating here. | rivaldo
10/10/2017 10:17 | dandelion: I think it's going to be a long time before you are promoted butter cup, as I have already answered your question by my previous comments. | kingharold
10/10/2017 09:36 | You seem to be interested enough to stick around and comment, are you sure that you haven`t made a mistake. | dan de lion
10/10/2017 09:30 | Kong: Good and sound theory, but not with this creep of a company. Your observations are prospective, whereas mine are retrospective. I've been with them quite a while, and I've had enough. But if it eventually blows - fine. It won't be the first one I've let go too early. Formation Group is one that springs to mind, for example. | kingharold
10/10/2017 09:15 | There is no slump. We are testing highs and it looks ready to break. I've seen charts on twitter saying this is a classic cup and handle with targets set at 3p. This is gospel of course, but it is good to see! | kingkongtimmo
10/10/2017 09:11 | Maybe it's CERP and Zenith pulling capital away from MOGP this morning. Oil is good. | kingharold
10/10/2017 09:08 | Determined seller out there. | dan de lion
10/10/2017 09:08 | king you do know we are still on 52 week highs? Simple, clear the seller and it moves, shouldnt take too long considering it will be a sub 3% holder. Fundamentals are still great. | ileeman
10/10/2017 09:06 | Typical MOGP post-euphoria slump. I take no pleasure in seeing it, again; I just got fed up with it happening time and time again. | kingharold
10/10/2017 09:06 | Been following MOGP for a while and only recently in the last week or so does it feel there has been a major seller pushing on the price. Cant be a major seller as there are no 3%+ holders apart from the BOD. | ileeman
10/10/2017 09:02 | 2.1p to buy . This is an absolute gift at these levels. Surely one of the tipsheets will cotton on to what's happening here soon... | jakleeds
10/10/2017 08:52 | A2343546756788975435 | molatovkid
10/10/2017 08:51 | In addition to these contracts, the Board is confident that CAF is about to be awarded a particularly significant contract - one with an initial value of circa GBP4m - to supply and install flooring at another major office development in the City of London. The Board expects that the Company's successes in 2017 are unlikely to be limited to these contracts. The market remains strong in terms of tender activity and CAF expects to secure additional works including some to be undertaken in 2018.More contracts to come on both sides | mikeh30 |
