17/5/2018 07:29 | Another sad story for retail. What's next on the shorting horizon? >>>> In short, deterioration in the Company's trading performance in the second half of last year was exacerbated by the necessity to run the business for cash in order to operate within our available financing facilities whilst simultaneously having to bear a mounting burden of professional costs that threatened to inundate the business. | only who?
17/5/2018 07:29 | CI. Have to. You cant issue new shares at below nominal value with the shares at circa 20p they couldn't do an issue otherwise. | kibtf
17/5/2018 07:29 | As expected this looks heavily dilutive. It is practically a carbon copy of carpetright. I don't know if there will be an emotional reaction north this morning bit normality will resume shortly after and it will be logic resume a southerly trajectory. The rehiring of the former CEO is a confused message, given he has presided over the whole debacle. | rhambo
17/5/2018 07:20 | By announcing a £28m fund raise that will happen in July you just give the shorts 6-8 weeks to off load them before issue | supercity

16/5/2018 16:51 | Well the share price has been very optimistic over the past few days, very curious given what came out in the RNS on Monday. I think any good news is now discounted in the share price and we will see what level of detail goes into tomorrow's announcements. Personally, I think it has been too optimistic and when I look at this rationally, you can't really see anything but some fairly substantial dilution to provide enough breathing space on the debt AND enough to provide investment to grow the company, particularly in the face of a shrinking store estate. In light of the above I would be very surprised if the retail investor does well out of tomorrow's announcements in the short term. | rhambo

14/5/2018 13:38 | I would not be at all surprised if the Retail Investor loses 90% of their investment. | loganair
14/5/2018 13:00 | I understand before a company can come out of a CVA that most of the original debt has to have been paid off. | loganair
14/5/2018 12:27 | dealy there is no other way of putting this but you are just flat out wrong that placings do not get underwritten. Here's an example: | rhambo
14/5/2018 12:18 | if it was a placing then it would not need to be underwritten (a word used in the rns) | dealy
14/5/2018 12:13 | dealy - The Telegraph understands the troubled firm will hit major shareholders with an equity share 'PLACING' when it outlines a rescue plan alongside full-year results this week. | loganair
14/5/2018 11:54 | no denying though that this stock has been a disaster | dealy
14/5/2018 11:42 | let's say they issue 300m shares at 10p (1 for one). as a holder you can buy at 10p. the stock is not going to be available at that level to non rights holders | dealy |
