this is not the first or the last company to tap shareholders for money along its path. if the businessplan is sound then there is no issue

You realise this does not just apply to individuals?
Institutions have rules on % of holdings etc. so there may be situations where a rights breaches a holding limit...

Then I repeat

So if you have invested the last of your savings then you get the same opportunity to avoid dilution as the next guy huh?

Also if you decided to invest an amount here - why would you go and change the amount you decided to invest by adding more to it ... since the share price is not performing and neither is the company.

I repeat: a RI offers shareholders the chance to avoid being diluted. A placing does not. The equity injection serves to strengthen the ability to execute the business plan

I have long since given up on you ever "getting real " dealy .
Your posts are eloquently written enough - so you can read and write - its just you post such fantasist rubbish all the time.

I am guessing you once bought a bombed out share and made some money - so now you are trying to repeat by jumping on any old pile of rubbish no matter what the facts are. There are a pile of companies that go bust every year it does happen and people who gamble on them lose money - face facts and stop posting ridiculous garbage to try and shore up your gambles.....

Dealy,So are you saying there will be no extra shares issued as part of the rights issue?, are you also saying the share price ex rights will not be diluted?............you are a complete idiot!.IMO They will not be doing a rights issue anyway, but a placing.DD

dealy just posted the other day on Interserve the morning it was announced that the FCA were investigating them for their reporting of losses.

dealy said the investigation was of no consequence........ usual nothing ever goes wrong in dealy's world .... the bombed out share price fell another 14% over 2 days ...

Unbelievable how some have still get their heads in the sand here.Profit expected to be £1m, their forecast was at the lower end of £1m-£5m, so as posted some time ago, £1m is a target price of 5p IMO, but that excludes any dilution from a placing. That said in two minds whether to close my short before results or not.Terminated - the £7m saving down the back of the cot has long since gone on other "transformation" costs!.Hope you cut your losses some time ago, although somehow doubt it!.DD
