17/4/2018 16:42 | Never been in a Moss Brothers store but today acquired a small shareholding.Difficu | harvester
03/4/2018 17:14 | Just received a 20% off voucher if I spend more than £100 in store or on-line. A sign of a new marketing push? | barnesian
02/4/2018 22:20 | Could some canny investor tie up with a top marketing guy to turn that trend ? | coolen
31/3/2018 20:22 | I think suggesting it may go bust is probably a bit premature. The balance sheet is fine and they expect to remain profitable this year. I just wonder whether the trend isn't towards wearing less and less formal wear at work. I know in my last two jobs I have been able to dress down every day. I have a couple of nice suits but I don't seem to have to wear them very much these days. | arthur_lame_stocks
31/3/2018 20:16 | went there to pick up my new suit today excellent service in the Colchester shop very good price even added a shirt and belt because of price both items in the sale bit of a bargin in the sale imho would have been happy to pay more jacket was perfect fit and i often find it difficult to find a jacket that fits nice in the sleeve be a shame if it goes bust | ntv
27/3/2018 16:02 | The company has taken a short term hit because a supply mess-up which now seems to be under control. Six month's earnings lost at the very most. Shouldn't depress the price by more than 5-10%. But someone's head should roll! The pressure on the whole UK retailing sector is more serious but MOSB seems to have stabilised with decent growth in e-trading. Juicy div yield even at reduced level. Good cash flow. Takeover possibility for premium brand reputation. Seems undervalued to me at this price which is 50% down on the year. | barnesian
27/3/2018 15:17 | Good result. Can't believe this is no flyingEnterprise value 34m Vs mcap 46mOperating cash flow 12m that is 34 per cent of the ev. Dividend 8.5 per cent cover 1.33 times. This must be a takeover soon imo | cascudi
24/3/2018 05:34 | 4p dividend is 10pc yield at this price. The balance sheet is good. To me this undervalued company. May be takeover? As they say buy when there is "blood" in the street and hold. | cascudi
21/3/2018 08:35 | 43p when they've had circa 20p per share cash on the balance sheet recently and they're still going to make a profit looks well overdone IMO. However, the 'material short-term issues with the resulting availability of stock' reflect utter incompetence by someone. It's better to take a significant margin hit until the problem is solved rather than upset customers with poor availability. Heads should roll... | esmith3
21/3/2018 08:32 | Grim update today. I fear further warnings are to follow this year so I'm out. Slashing the divi by so much makes me think the position is worse than has been revealed so far. Will monitor but would be very reluctant to buy again. | zimbtrader
21/3/2018 08:31 | Brick must be under pressure. His mistake re supplier base and now divi cut. Lost too many of his original senior team and now business under pressure. Takeover opportunity for the Chinese if they are brave enough. | hercules10
21/3/2018 08:15 | The owner of this thread might want to modify the title to WHY THE SMART MONEY IS NO LONGER ON MOSS BROS | speedsgh
21/3/2018 07:48 | really should have taken a deposit imho but 5* service so far | ntv
21/3/2018 07:47 | i ordered a suit yesterday though i don't think it is going to help a lot guys were helpful in the Colchester branch | ntv
21/3/2018 07:41 | Jlo10, if the previous statement was a limited warning, what is this? | bookbroker
14/2/2018 15:05 | Dividend yield of 10%+ covered by free cash flow. | barnesian
21/1/2018 23:22 | Was the recent shareholding RNS a case of Chelverton buying a new stake, or merely averaging down on an existing position ? | coolen
18/1/2018 23:42 | Dividend percentage is pretty good now. Still good cash flow - so it does not seem under threat initially It was a limited profit warning. But outlook constrained. I guess it could fall further - worth keeping a watch on maybe | jlo10
01/11/2017 21:45 | That seemed like a decent shakeout. Onwards and upwards now? | investopia
28/9/2017 07:16 | Quite happy under the circumstances. Tough times ahead though imo. | snadgey
28/9/2017 07:10 | good results as normal | manrobert
26/9/2017 20:23 | Thanks for the updates guys. More informative than the company. | snadgey
26/9/2017 10:10 | I hold and am a little disappointed TBH. I rarely visit the company's own website, so hadn't picked up on the change. I assumed, wrongly, that I could rely upon the company's own official stock market releases :-( | cwa1
26/9/2017 10:06 | Morning CWA. Thanks for that. Looks like they've changed their minds & not been proactive in telling shareholders. Nice! Discl: I do not hold. | speedsgh
26/9/2017 09:43 | Morning speeds According to the RNS'ed TU:- The Group will announce its Interim Results on 26 September 2017 | cwa1 |
