In accordance with Rule 2.9 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers (the "Code"), Morrisons confirms that, as at 30 July 2021, it has in issue 2,418,315,424 ordinary shares of 10 pence each. Morrisons does not hold any shares in treasury.

The increase in the number of ordinary shares results from the issue of 64,186 ordinary shares in connection with an allotment of shares under the Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC Sharesave Scheme.
