Ch1ck, yes I prefer this kind of market, opportunities to buy decent companies at prices well off 3 year highs.

So revenue was 6 million down on £335.66 forecast and profit down double that and the price drops by 22%. What the !!To me it shows how fragile the market is. Any black swan event from here and you can kiss any recovery goodbye. On the other hand this is more like the market I have known for twenty years and a great place to trade to make a profit.Bought first thing and will hold for the div and 15-20% up side

Results tomorrow. Stock has been de-rated somewhat. Should have plenty of cash and will be interesting to see what they plan to do with it. Last year we had 2% of the shares bought back. Some newspapers have been negative saying that they will have to step up investment in order to move the service onto mobile devices. Not sure that is true given that they have already spent a lot in this area.

In any event, with net cash say over £40m at the end of 2017 what is the plan? Energy prices have gone up in the UK and this should help their switching division.

This is a solid business and by far the best comparison site with the widest range of sectors, which I see as steadily increasing in profitability.

Well, having re entered at 275 last year I am out this morning at 327.
Decent profit but I just feel that the forward looking statement will make further progress more difficult and it isn't a profit until it is banked.

Excellent TS again today. Don't know why it was marked down before, but it was great value. Flying under the radar.

"The Group expects to deliver strong full year results with revenues expected to grow by 12% to GBP316 million, and Adjusted Operating Profit* by c.8% to about GBP108 million. "

Made some good money on this one a few years back and was looking to re enter after the last upbeat update but the share price has been surprisingly weak so I think I will just watch for the next few weeks.
