Pretty happy with my £20k at 144.5p a few weeks ago!
My 180p target before christmas now looks a bit conservative...not that I am complaining!

This is the problem with these HFT's - totally confuse the picture.

Should be back to 2 quid soon.

I'm delighted with this - only recently on board as I felt it was oversold.

A small holding for me but all the signs are positive in this excellent update, growth in a very competitive aggregator market is tough but moneysupermarket continue to deliver.

That's why it's important to look at sites like Alexa. ;-))

"Investments we made in our energy business early in the year, the acquisition of MoneySavingExpert in September 2012 and our growing travel business contributed significantly in the third quarter and demonstrates the value of our increasing diversity.

"As we look forward to the rest of the year and beyond we're confident we can help every household make the most of their money and that means we are also confident of MoneySuperMarket's prospects."

Have to agree re chart weakness, not how I see it currently. Lovely reversal candle on the weeklies showing. An attempt to trade back over weekly 100sma ongoing.....ditto daily 50sma. We have the first higher low on the dailies if we do break 160 per Dow theory.

That isn't to say the share price won't decline further but for the moment the TA view is rather neutral imho and an argument could be made for up, down or sideways.....

I don't think so - You don't see the double bottom?!? There was a good chance to get in there and also on the pull back a few days ago.

short term graph looks weak - watch and wait before getting in.

Clearly someone is still offloading a large stake but I fail to see the relevance of that.
I used that as an opportunity to take £20K at 144.5p because I believe that the fall from 220p was unwarranted.
Buy on the fundamentals not on what is happening in terms of who is buying or selling in the short term.
I have done very nicely before picking up stock at knock down prices when a large seller has suppressed the share price for a period usually of around 6 months.
As usual DYOR

one could equally ask the question....why is the share price down about 30% in the last 5 months.
The volumes sold are insignificant at less than £1M
I still expect 180 by the end of the year.

Someone is dumping these shares. Yesterday 250k was sold and today 500k. I don't understand why it hardly moves the share price.

I bought pretty much on the basis that the business throws off cash like nobodys business and they now pay a divi like a yield stock as opposed to a growth one. That limits any downside.

Still think there is an overhang from the big sell earlier in the year.
Having said that we must be getting near the end of it now.
I still expect to see a return to at least 180 by year end.
