Posted at 16/4/2024 06:27 by kooba Oakblokes research suggests"For example GROW values its 0.35% holding in Revolut at £54.5m. This means Revolut is worth £15.4bn ($19.5bn)."So whilst the Schroders valuation uplifts is not as meaningful as where they were valuing, it looks like a 30% uplift on where Molten currently hold..which would be positive. |
Posted at 29/2/2024 14:37 by spectoacc There's not many co's that have the potential to double, but I reckon GROW is one.Potential to halve too of course, but be surprised if it went back through the lows. A volatile move back to above £4 I hope. |
Posted at 19/2/2024 22:20 by rambutan2 Reports of Graphcore being up for sale, $500m being mentioned. GROW would certainly welcome a bit of cash, albeit at nothing like the valuation it once perched. |
Posted at 02/2/2024 11:06 by thunders Also Grow price follows NASDAQ |
Posted at 02/2/2024 10:35 by thunders Yes interest rate is important for company like Grow |
Posted at 02/2/2024 10:11 by melody9999 as we seem to be moving to a concensus on interest rate reductions and timings, now would look to be a good entry point into GROW. |
Posted at 02/2/2024 09:46 by johnrxx99 I think I should let you know that GROW have removed their email address from Sharescope and Morningstar have still not accepted their listing details. I don't know whats going on but ..... |
Posted at 23/1/2024 08:21 by johnrxx99 Interactive Invester have still not sorted out the problem of being able to trade GROW. What a shower.I am not going to use the phone because I'm paying them to provide a service and I'll hassle them and GROW until it's sorted. |
Posted at 10/11/2023 13:33 by kooba Often the case would be 12-18 months..but these kind of companies are basically just pooled investment trusts not really operating businesses...i guess they just set the target at the prospective NAV , as shop they are not going to say sell at a discount to assets. If the IPO market continues to recover and some of GROW portfolio companies get back on the listing runway then i guess some excitement returns. For now even though the company seems to be weathering the underlying market challenges it's clear that the equity market is still very wary of PE valuations. |
Posted at 02/11/2023 05:36 by rambutan2 It's also worth noting that AGT has been upping its stake recently, despite it having such a large field of value to pick from at present.I've also wondered whether GROW might end up being targeted by one of the larger US VCs. In the past, despite quite a lot of effort, they have struggled to make much headway in Europe, with its borders, red tape, languages, varying regulations etc etc. GROW, with its established platform, might offer a solution of sorts? |
