Like the way it is building slowly off the bottom and working into what looks like a bowl formation. Some news, results etc and this can move up nicely.

Have enough of these now but I would still be adding otherwise.

I wonder if they might have the same principal for a desal/membrane web-site and another for wastewater.

It makes some sense to have one front face and then link off into specific websites. Also makes it easier if they ever sell any off. Easier to separate out.

Can't see if they can sell on-line for disposables but that would make sense.

I don't think he would admit it if it was but I don't think it is. Long overdue a turn around and the new monitoring website suggests it is started.

They have pulled all the monitoring side under one web address and that product alone looks like justifying the current market cap. The product is good, timely and there's a good mix of offerings and useful in a wide set of geographies and market segments. Water is diverse in it's uses and where/by whom and they have it all covered with monitoring.

Add in packaged desal + wastewater and it easily justifies more than the current market cap on potential alone. Add in IP, membrane etc and £10M doesn't look a massive stretch.

Previous disappointments are still hanging over this but only a matter of time before the forward look takes over from the past.

If you can be patient its worth considering having a few tucked away and adding on weakness, slowly.
No need to get carried away but I think others might once it starts to move.

The company's revenues will presumably benefit from the Monitoring Division's improved gross margins (up from 43% to 51%) for the £550,000 of Chinese order committments announced on 17/11/2016. Weaker sterling also means foreigh revenues convert into more £'s and make export sales cheaper for customers giving MWG a pricing advantage.

The two large buys each of 3.875m on 16/11/2016 probably a new institutional investor coming aboard after the directors added.

Around 9.75% of total shares in issue traded today. The only people holding that many are Henderson (11.4%) and IP Group (20%) - look forward to an RNS.

Directors buying shares in September and November seems to signal the upturn. Could be back above 40p soon making it a six bagger.

Some good news flow recently.

1) 21/3/2016

Joint commercialisation agreement with Advent Envirocare regarding brine concentration for wastewater treatment in India...for the joint development and commercialisation of Modern Water's proprietary all membrane brine concentration (AMBC) technology which will be applied to wastewater treatment plants across India.
...The integration of Modern Water's brine concentration technologies substantially reduces both the capital costs and, in particular, the operating costs necessary.

...the parties are jointly funding and deploying a pilot test plant at an operational wastewater treatment site in India and will complete testing by the end of 2016. ...the plant will demonstrate to the customer the full economic and process advantages of the technology, specifically, the significant reduction of waste water volume for subsequent brine crystalliser treatment at low operational cost compared to existing processes.

Simon Humphrey, CEO, Modern Water, said: "...This project will clearly demonstrate the benefits of Modern Water's approach and will allow us to promote our brine concentration technology throughout the world."

Soham Mehta, Managing Director, "...at a time when Advent Envirocare is executing some of the largest ZLD projects in India, the stage is set for this partnership to flourish."

2) 17/10/2016:

Modern Water receives order commitments for monitoring equipment in China.

Modern Water announces that its Monitoring Division has received order commitments from customers in the Asia Pacific region, in excess of GBP550,000, for its range of online toxicity and trace metal monitoring equipment. Delivery of the orders will be completed during the 2016 calendar year.

More for me too - never a bad thing when FD is buying .
After years of being a basket case (reflected in the current market cap) it looks like it might be about to fulfill at least some of its earlier promise.

Good luck Parvez. I own quite a few bought over a long period.

Can't get my head around the market cap given then the price of some of their equipment and the target markets. Water is a good place to be. It wouldn't take much to get this towards £20M valuation. As soon as they show they have stabilised and looking towards a breakeven. Any news out of the Middle East, Gibraltar or India and this will move quickly. It looks like the US is gaining traction and the Chinese starting to come back.

<£10M is a bargain imho.

It can easily double form here and undervalued imho.

With some sales on product this could quadruple. Am I the only one thinking this is undervalued when I look at the IP they have and the markets they are working in not to mention the product?

It does sound like they are trying to show what they say will happen does happen. In this case the upturn in H2 and probably because of the Gibraltar delays when it should have landed this past summer.

There must be activity we don't know about and a bit of proper news wouldn't go a miss.

Plenty of future here, just worried that this sounds a tad desperate having to put out an RNS for 'order commitments' instead of actual orders? They must still be looking to get their finances in place to help the turnaround.
