Shame about the daytrader but not sure kens on the ball here at all. Modern Water PLC AGM Statement RNS Number : 9663L Modern Water PLC 25 April 2018 25 April 2018 Modern Water plc ("Modern Water" or "the Company") AGM Statement At today's Annual General Meeting of Modern Water Plc, the owner of leading technologies for water and wastewater treatment and for the monitoring of water quality, Alan Wilson, Non-Executive Chairman, will make the following statement: "Modern Water has started 2018 strongly with Group revenue in the first-quarter 37% higher than in the same period last year. Both Divisions are performing well, with China the primary driver for the Monitoring Division and the Advance Works Contract for the Gibraltar waste-water treatment plant boosting the Membrane Division. Gross profit in the first quarter was 40% higher than 2017 and Group overhead was 8% lower than the same period last year. The Group's cash position as of 20thof April 2018, stood at £343,000 and the finance facility ($600,000) secured on Modern Water Inc's receivables remained un-utilised. Outlook Management is confident that the strategic decision to terminate the contract of our sole Chinese distributor and pursue a multi-channel sales approach in one of our most important markets, was correct and first-quarter financial results clearly support that. We expect further progress in the remainder of 2018 and for the Monitoring Division is expected to return to EBITDA breakeven for the year. In the Membrane Division, our principal process engineer is currently on site in India overseeing the final commissioning of our first full-scale All Membrane Brine Concentrator (AMBC). Two further paid-for trials with other industrial customers have been successful. We are also well-positioned in China and our first AMBC project is due to be commissioned shortly. With reference AMBC plants operational in both our key markets, we expect to see an acceleration of licence sales for this product during 2018. The Gibraltar Advance Works Contract is progressing well and we remain committed to helping HM Government of Gibraltar to achieve its goal of completing the Waste Water Treatment Plant in 2020."

1) Running at a loss. 2) Projects have several years lead-in times, so do not generate near-term revenues. 3) Each project only generates a small revenue anyway, not enough to make a major impact.

Al H - you're right of course, a stock doesn't change its spots. I should have sold out as soon as I I checked in at lunchtime and saw all the major league rampers. Did not think someone would be so thick as to lose so much money selling so low though! But this is AIM - I should have taken the money & run, not that it was a lot, £500 profit but money a mickel maks a muckle. This will be up again over the long term. The need for clean water is huge and the Chinese recognise the tech.

They only did 1,693,372 at 9.75p So they paid a 3p premium Thursday and sold I reckon when it was 11.25p bid and took a 1.5p discount 4.15p loss £70,270 loss

Who knows what will happen Monday - I would be surprised if they went to 8p or alternatively to 15p. Seems strange that they are freely available under the offer price. WINS been pushing these lower all day so they have the line to clear.

Stop listening to the ramping goons like PugUgly and listen to traders who are a bit more savvy in the ways of the monkeys and markets in general. Take the profit when it's there and ignore the pie in the sky 20p tomorrow morons. Almost never happens, price collapses very often happen, all about playing the odds, not RI fantasy valuations.

Bought more at 10.19p. Only thing stupider than my not selling when I was 50% up in two days would be not buying now at below the placing price!

10.17-10.46p I've seen some silly things before but I guess we will have to wait to find out why it's dropped back so low and they are offering stock and people are buying big size which is not budging the price

I expected some sort of retrace, knowing the fickle nature of Mr. Market, but surprised to be able to buy back some I sold yesterday for this much less. Suspect some sort of big order being worked in the background.

You do not think the unthinkable has happened here, the 1.7 mil who paid a 3p premium to buy yesterday has sold again. Not like the mm's to let people get so much size at the low of the day, normally it would be impossible to get a quote

One of the 100k purchases was me. Decided to join the party - there is obviously risk but after the recent RNSs I took comfort that MWG are seen as a serious option in their field and making tangible progress. I would hope there is further news in the short term on Gibraltar. It might prove to be a mistake but have been watching for a while and the Chinese JV peaked my interest.

I managed to get small amounts but the mm's are naturally not going to offer much at 10.5p or less unless more sell. I cannot believe it's dropped this far back, this market is bonkers now, all pile in all pile out nobody cares about the news

I think MWG attracts the thickest day traders when it releases an RNS
