I’d say wait for 20p, at the moment market cap is near net equity, let it drop for a few months, it’s far more profitable to buy on the way up rather than on the way down

Mobico Group plc ("Mobico" or the "Group") announces that Helen Weir, Chair of Mobico, has informed the Board that for personal reasons she does not intend to stand for re-election as a member of the Mobico Board at the Group's 2025 Annual General Meeting ("AGM").

As of 31 December 2024, Mobico Group’s net assets were:
£220.9 million, down sharply from £1,044.5 million in 2023.

This figure includes:
Shareholders’ equity: £184.8 million
Non-controlling interests: £36.1 million

The sharp decline reflects a statutory loss after tax of £793.8 million, driven by impairments and write-offs

Statutory Operating Loss: £(519.9)m, widening from £(43.2)m in 2023.
Statutory EPS: Fell to (134.8)p from (33.7)p.
Dividends: Still suspended — no dividend paid.
Significant Write-downs: A £793.8m statutory loss after tax, largely due to:
Goodwill impairment in the School Bus division.
Write-off of deferred tax assets.
Onerous contract provisions in German Rail.
Control weaknesses: Identified in forecasting and German Rail operations.
UK and German operations underperformed expectations.
ZEV target shortfall: Only 1,100 ZEVs vs a target of 1,500.
