9M per year for 600M. Sounds like good business to me. A leaner Mobico will thrive.

I am always wary of any business where the company is obliged to maintain a lot of machinery. They are at the mercy of their input costs.

Companies like this set their ticket prices, yes. But, they can control neither the cost of maintenance nor the depreciation of their inventory. That is all set by outside factors.

For me ... Planes, trains and automobiles.. avoid.

Ever since this company’s inception it has continued with appalling investments particularly the rail side of transport. Rail is a poisoned chalice, not to be touched, East Coast main and now German provincial rail. Transport is a high cost structure with mediocre returns, but Alsa offers hope. And maybe so does Phil White, investors have received a rotten return here over the years, things can hardly get any worse.

They were desperate to bring this news out just before results next week...either to cushion the blow or PR stunt to see market reaction...

Profit warnings come in 3's of all the biggest idiots the bus management should know 4 and 5 is beyond inept. I bet I Squared loved it! Now run off back to Europe while we turn this business round. Adios and thanks for the business back on the cheap. That's some of the debt paid down, unless we waste it on investing in a pet project, but still 500m bond to clear. I thought they kitchen sinked it last time. Inept and shafted.

Am I right in thinking that figures of over $1 billion were being discussed my analysts. In which case this is seriously underwhelming.
Then add in more German pain…

Sociological, is that a wishful guess or based on fact? My assumption is that US sale is months away, possibly into next year. And this latest bounce, from basic chartist analysis, looks more like a dead feline one.wish I'd cut my losses and got out at 90p. Much better value, on metrics, elsewhere.

If I wasn't a long suffering investor here, I'd probably be tempted to commit more cash to this bunch of @rse at these levels.

Can only assume this bunch of @rse is falling in sympathy with the market generally. Can't see how this business is in any way affected by trumps ballistic assault on the global economy.

Yeah, because the bus from Bradford to Burnley is subject to US tariffs.

Have you thought about trying something you're more suited to diku?
