27/9/2001 00:06 | Hi All, Can someone please enlighten me on the following points : 1.The relationship between FTSE FUTURE and FTSE CASH. 2.Which one drives the other. 3.How is the FTSE FUTURE determined. From what I understand, the FTSE CASH is the index of the top 100 companies trading on the LSE( no so sure I'm correct). If correct, it should be driven by prices of its composing companies. I have noticed that the index itself seem to have a life of its own apart from its components. My main reason for this is that sometimes while my monitor is flashing red on most stocks, the index goes blue and increases. Or is just that the sectors to which the stocks in my monitor belong were dipping at that time. I hope I have made sense to any one. | vicism

27/9/2001 00:00 | Further to the UU. discussion I see on the UU. BB that there is a suggestion from the charts of a break down through 5.80 to 4.90. Would one of you charting types mind taking a quick look at that and comment please - I'd appreciate it. Cheers Leo | leosoloman

26/9/2001 16:14 | C&w looking ok now, must point out to anyone who is put off by L2 ,there always seems to be lots more sellers than buyers,i know it goes against out usual way on interpreting L2 but i consider it to be quiet strong if the ratio is down to approx 2 sellers to 1 buyer,as it can at times be as high as 4 to 1,but a stock you have to watch like a hawk when youve placed a trade as it can be swing in both directions very fast with L2 having little relevance at times | ruth
