I expect further adverse movement but nothing too dramatic. The Canadian authorites definitely want the week loonie.

Fair comment both, interesting to consider others views, personally don't expect the £ to keep roaring ahead forever and a day on the back of cheap credit in the U.K economy.

Just be worth a consideration if/when MMT rerates and still holds a regular divi, whether to ditch or sell some maybe next year. Getting ahead of myself I know.

Also the Canuks recently stated they want a weak loonie so the tide is currently against us here.

Given this is near to as stable as we have been the last year, with progress just around the corner, as an aside for a U.K investor there is some merit considering the exchange rate. So what chance the pound v loonie surely swinging back at some point?

Oilserv have changed their project status from COMPLETED to ON-GOING. Even so, it is good to see that the pipeline is actually getting done.

If that is the case then it is a massive turnaround from the Mart RNs from 10/4/14. I really don't think they are that efficient in Nigeria. Either Mart mispoke earlier, this release is not quite accurate or the pipeline contractor has worked miracles.
I'm quite happy to hold and wait and see, after all I getting paid to do so.

This "news" isn't just a journalists' article, it's based on a piece the pipeline contractor put up on their project page:

Sg31 wise to think that way, as Mart often 5 steps forward 3 back in no particular order.

My expectation is not particularly of pumping oil in May, but the fact (if it is fact), that the pipeline being laid, means all the local indigenous communities have been greased, err i mean appeased and further weather hold ups due Nigerian monsoons etc cannot affect it. Whether Pumping stations still need building would be one of those "steps back", but they can be built almost any time of year, not so with laying pipelines.

Personally i think this little snippet is a gift horse for those with foresight.

Past the point of loading up, just started to feel no longer like my nuts were in a vice when we started rising back from the 1.20's.

Small consolation in the pullback, was managing to transfer a few more from trading accounts to ISAs, big worry now is my kids will look at their accounts one day and think Nigeria is a good place to do business!!!

LOL thinking the same, big boys not yet been alerted looking at the trades it's all P.I driven so far.

Good chance to get a jump traders or investors, looks very much like the official sources are lagging behind the news here.

Feeling very positive about this now.

Can't copy and paste, but in Africa oIl and Gas it's confirmed for May commisioning ;) Stand by your beds, light those rockets, blah, blah.

Happy days if it's before end of June, the AGM could be some party!!

Thread creator has been around, albeit a slightly different user name. Used to email from time to time. However took a very big profit and moved on only to see MMT spike to that 2.31c. Did consider coming back, but last I heard was still out.

When London listing comes you will really need a blue creator, as I expect the noise will bring numpties!

Broke I expect because of the exchanges move, can't expect ADVFN to keep up; although expect it's possibly something the thread creator needed to change.

Never mind come the London listing given the appetite for oilers around here, I'm sure some johnny come lately will oblige with a new thread lol
