Another thumb down on one of my comments. Would welcome your view and some healthy debate if you disagree with points in my post.

Volume is picking up both sides of the Atlantic which is a good indication. We have had no substantial news for some time, lots way overdue. On reflection and on the surface it would seem poor from the BOD but again I think they are having to keep things under wraps unless it is just a huge scam!!

Especially if its a bidding war with the Chinese!! Whilst the Chinese currently control most of the Worlds supply, taking further control will undoubtedly start to see the price be controlled also so there is still great reward in them securing Songwe in my opinion. Those on the board arent concerned on the share price currently, they already know whats going to happen. The lack of news is a clear indicator to me in addition to the 'fast tracked' BFS that is almost complete but is being held back to deliver the entire package in Q2. Full support from the Malawi government too. What is there to really be concerned about if you are a long term holder? The first bud can be at whatever price. I can guarantee it wont be the last bid

That could be a massive positive, if some kind of bidding war breaks out. The management and advisors of MKA who stand to make a very large sum should go with an offer that offers the best price for shareholders.

The recent RNS stated the BFS would be published along with the mining development agreement which was expected to take 3 months from the RNS so now expected early June. Interesting though how this is being held back, as its clear on the progress breakdown most of the complex components are complete or nearing completion.Could we get a takeover bid on or near the release of what should be a monumental RNS

Only 5 (working) days to go this QI. Were'nt we supposed to see the BFS sometime during QI22? Or should I see the update on March 7 as an implicit announcement of a (further) delay of the BFS?
Any views?

Any offer has to be accepted. I and sure most will be reluctant to accept a low ball bid regardless of where the share price is. There is significant value in the ground and even greater demand for it, we all know its a matter of National security to the West to remove reliance of China providing rare Earths so I cant see this being bought out on the cheap, equally any low ball offer is surely going to see a counter offer? The Chinese could easily bid too

4/5 months of slowly but surely pushing it down. I hope people can see what I meant when people where saying it will get taken out for 2 pounds etc. Apart from the people who where in very early, a majority of shareholders will break even or make a few pence when this gets taken over. People in the city don't make money by handing millions over to the likes of us.

Thought we might of possibly received an RNS this morning as there was some major volume and positive price action in the Canadian market Friday. Lets see what happens.

According to Russian media that is July at best, likely September for a conclusion in Ukraine, then we will have a rise in covid cases.

At the moment, positive RNS news seems to be irrelevant. Have lost track of the number of good companies I have seen, announcing excellent progress but getting hammered by the market. Until inflation and war fears pass, the trading algos are going to dominate. Likely to be choppy waters for 3-6 months for anything other than energy stocks in my opinion. After that, things should recover providing the world is still in one piece.

Excellent news and hopefully the start of more news to come!! Again this shows me that we are very well positioned in ensuring the West have access the rare earths and I am confident Songwe will soon be announced as a further key supplier

: ERMA to support #MKA in securing financing for its separation plant in Poland. "ERMA is managed by EIT RawMaterials, a Knowledge and Innovation Community of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, a body of European Union."

Monday's RNS, concerning the successful completion of hydrometallurgical testing, was evidently a key milestone to accelerate financing discussions. Whilst acknowledging I sound like a parrot(!): a secure supply of rare earth elements is absolutely vital for nations now, especially in light of Ukraine/Russia, and what could quickly lead to de-globalization. Not only are REEs key ingredients in electric vehicles, but also in wind turbines. The energy crisis jolted by the war will very likely accelerate the snowballing of these technologies.

And then there's the second vital aspect of REEs: the use of REE permanent magnets in numerous military applications. It is this aspect - REEs being a matter of National Security - that sets the group of metals apart from the other 'green metals'

#MKA is one of the cheapest pure-play REE companies on the public markets, on an absolute basis. On a relative basis, I'd argue it's by far the cheapest. It now has an EU body signed up to secure financing for its separation plant; and Malawi's government is broadcasting......the national significance of the Songwe Hill project. The combined NPV of the integrated mine and separation plant projects is - at current spots and by my estimates - over $1.5bn. #MKA's mkt cap: £53m. I'd also suggest it deserves a premium valuation rating over....pre-producers of other types of green metals. I believe War has caused #MKA's recent suppressed valuation (esp. with it being on Poland's doorstep). Counterargument: current geopolitics only increases the inherent value and importance of the planned separation plant.
